@@greencountrycustoms8387 You have a great channel, I am looking forward to learning a lot from you
can you create a video on a beginner practice with an airbrush? Like what should we get comfortable and good doing with an airbrush, spots, lines, patterns, dual action control, air pressure etc. I am just starting out. Thank you for all the videos.
Ok i can do that. Be a few weeks or so have several videos already scheduled
Sorry to pester you but what kind of clear boxes do you use? And is there a one size fits all? And where do you get them from?
If your referring to boxes to store or ship cranks in i order mine from Jann’s craft or clear bags.com. Cam shell from Jann’s and other styles at clear bags. You can do one size if you order the largest size you paint. I use several different
I bought the kit that came with the g22. I do like it for learning on. I think I want to go ahead and get a iwata though. Have u used the neo from iwata ? And I looked for the triple action but couldn’t find one
Yes the Neo is just fine and triple action handles can be found at most art supply. Essential art.com, eBay, Amazon, chicagoair, ect
The triple action handle is an accessory that goes on the iwata airbrush they do not come on the original airbrush in case you were searching for them that way
I started with a really cheap brush, went to a Neo. I now use an Eclipse HP-CS. The Neo is kinda OK, but the nozzle is extremely small. If you get a clog (which you will due to specks in the paint) it is difficult to clean. The HP-CS has a floating nozzle that is far, far easier to clean. Also the design of the Neo is different and it will not operate without the needle cap like the Eclipse will.
I got my Eclipse summer of 2023 at Hobby Lobby for about $145. Do yourself a favor and buy it first if you can. Save yourself all the headaches. If I took the money I pissed away on cheap brushes and canned air, I could have bought the Eclipse up front.
Also, as much as guys tout shooting Createx paint straight from the bottle, I find it is much easier to shoot and adheres to the lure much better if I add Createx 4050 UVLS and a little 4011 reducer. This is particularly true with original Createx opaques like white. Some guys say you can thin with water, but I get much better results with 4011. You’ll get far less tip dry and clogging, plus the paints flow and cover better if you mix in a medicine cup. It’s worth the effort. Plus, you can shoot at 20psi instead of 30-40 psi which gives much more control
Thin paints like Com Art, Golden, and FW do not require thinning like the original Createx do and will shoot at considerably lower pressure. I have some of those three brands but use Createx most as they are the most easily available
What model of iwata did u say u use?
The eclipse hp-cs
Thank u
