My early childhood was in karachi sadar area, where all communities, Hindus, muslims, including Parsis with various faiths such as Zorastrians, Christian and even Jews, lived happily together. I still miss that time of peace and tranquility. Lot of respect for all these people of different faiths.

I was born in Bombay, and then later my parents moved to Karachi! So, from the age of 8 to the age of 34, I lived there till we migrated to Canada in 1974. I have been here and this is my home! However, growing up in Pakistan was a great experience - a Catholic in a place that was, predominantly Muslim! Yet, growing up, my best friends were from the Parsi community over the years. My good friend was Byram Avari of the famed Beach Luxury Hotel and then there were the Minwallas (Metropole Hotel) the Daruwallas and so on! Wonderful memories!

Respect and love for Parsi families all over Lahore and Pakistan. The civilization of the Parsi families is still remembered in Lahore before the partition of Pakistan.Respected Chala sahib and Mam Nargis Sobhani love for Lahore which is expressed. They can do just that and only a true Lahori. Hopefully the younger generation will think so too and the heirs of the civilization of Lahore will stay alive in this city and keep the history alive.Best wishes to all the video-making team.

Watching this, reminded me of our stay in Lahore for over 25 years, where our youngest son was born in 1960. All the Parsis shown in the video were close friends, including my brother Billy who is still staying at the Dr. Bharucha flats
with his wife Mohta. I had a hand in supervising its construction and the Agiary next door.
We also stayed there for several years when there was a club and games.

Parsis are hard working, sincere and patriots. Irrespective of their lowest population, their contribution to mankind is one of the highest. They know well how to lead the life with simplicity without any show offs and remain down to earth through out their entire life. I had my lovely parsi aunt who loved me like her own son. Love from and Indian to all Parsi brothers and sisters.

So many views and comments gathered over the years! Glad you all enjoyed a glimpse of our tiny community which has now become even smaller over the last 4 years. Saddens me to think one day my beautiful city won't have a single parsi.
As a minority, all I can say to all the Muslims reading this is - remember what the colours of our flag represents and stand by it. All the minorities of Pakistan, be it Parsis, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, and so many more, all represent the white part of the flag. Minorities were, are and will always be an integral part of Pakistan. We should all learn to treat everyone with equal kindness and respect, irrespective of religion, race, status, gender.
    Live and let live. Peace!

Either you are highly biased or watching this with eyes wide shut. Just like India cant match Pakistan when it comes to class in any of the walks of life, the Parsies in this video are well nourished well dressed and civilised. The objection coming from a country like india where a fascist hindu sectarain party is in power for last 10 years making minorities a target and making their lives hell. You could be killed in india for eating beef, how do you explain this. Parsies have always held high esteemed position as lawyers, businessman, journalist, educationists, professors, hoteliers, judges and doctors. Parsi students were always position holders in medical and engineering colleges. The professor of microbiology in my college was a parsi lady, justice Cornelius, Ardsheer Cowsjee, Ibrahim Sethna, Behram Awari ( Asian Games Gold Medalist ) few names I remember from my time there.

radonpq99 ignorance is bliss. I say watch Tahir gora or tag tv while watching the wire. Use common sense and think as a human being instead of a Muslim. If India has 30% Muslim and Pakistan 1% India every other minorities like parsies, Hindus, Christians why?

You make grave errors the Sage Zoroaster lived much earlier. Besides Zoroastrianism is an Aryan religion a cousin religion of Hinduism and may have had impact on the Semitic religions but there is nothing Semitic about it. Also the Aryan Race split (from a proto-Aryan Race) into the Hindus and Persians in Northwestern Indian subcontinent and merged region of Central Asia thus Rigvedic Sanskrit and Avestan Persian is very nearly the same. They are technically identical twins.

Jawab Akbari there was no "afghanistan" then. Bactria or Pakhti is not in northern Afghanistan but in both Pakistan and Afghanistan.

I am reading comments of a few Parsis from Pakistan who seem to be satisfied living there.
But if you ever feel persecuted or left out, feel free to come and settle in India, we will give you all the facilities.
I am not in favor of the CAA, but for Parsis, its always welcome.
You people are less in number.

The so-called Muslim 5 Times a day is a copy from Zoroastrianism. In fact all the concepts like Namaz, Roza, Fareshta come from this religion. There's no authentic evidence that the Prophet Muhammad ever performed rituals or offered Namaz.

aashish chutani Pakistan is known to be a most diverse country of the world .... Why ????? Just because of its Religions ..... Yes .... 3 more religions with all religions of the world Pakistan have !!!!! These 3 are Ahmadii, Bahaai & Kailaashi !!! (Not even in India these 3 are found) So it is not a valid statement to say Pakistan can't tolerate any religion over Islam !!!!!
