- In this message from Proverbs 18:21, Bellevue's college pastor, Daniel Harris, reminds us that our words can be a tool to build others up or a torch to burn them down. Looking also at the words of David, James, and Jesus, we see the importance of words and how they can predict where our heart lies.

The tone of the conversation determines the outcome. Meaning I don't want to talk to people who Shout. I usually say something and they say their sorry for bothering me. I try to use Parables but they refuse to Listen.
Sometimes however you have to let go that person who does not care how you feel or what you've been through. And though declaring themselves as Christians or family, their words proves the contrary. I prefer in this case to be closer to Jesus and care about my relationship with him than keeping relationship with toxic people
Don't let your words hurt your Testimony.
People remember words that hurt. Always remember that. One day you will wish ya never said them.
