I wonder how she sounded before her illness altered her voice, she sounds amazing now, but thats after years of fighting for her health.
Apparently it's a challenge for her to go this low as an alto especially given her need for oxygen enriched air. This is borderline tenor and she's a natural high soprano. She has amazing range given the fact that her lungs got nerfed from a disease she still has to deal with as it congests her lungs. I wish I could have heard her before all of her illness took her lungs cause I bet she was literally heavenly considering I consider her to be one of the best singers on RUclips and Twitch period. Only person as far as I am concerned that is comparable to her is Sora as they are both operatically trained singers
I believe that the long periods being able to speak, and the resulting naturally higher natural voice, makes it harder too. Go, mouse!

Mouseys lower register is amazing, and a real treat when we get it, since she can't do it often.
Her Shakira impression is close enough that when she sang on I think one of Connor's streams, it got taken down for using a Shakira song. :P

if it was the microphone her funny laughs would be lower pitched too. Mouse is just built Different. She's holding herself together with some high quality tape and dreams, sure, but she built different.
Every time this song clip I giggle because she once said her long ago teacher would be scolding her so hard! Because of the type of soprano she is, singing this low, teachers would say this will hurt her upper range. LOL!! I think that might be the "pure opera snob" coming out from her teacher. And I do mean that in a light teasing way. Every voice teacher has their idea of the "correct" way to sing and what should and should not be sung based on their own preferences. Which is why we has so many wonderful examples of singing techniques!
Yeah, well, her upper range has gotten 'better' with time I would say... I seem to recall that illnesses can tighten the vocal cords and lead to a higher pitched voice? If that's not Mouse, I'm not sure who it is. So XD
@@RHTQ1 She is a coloratura soprano. If anything the only thing that is "better" about her upper range is her breath support and that's because her lungs are getting stronger. She has said her old speaking tone was because of the level of medications she was talking. I would say her speaking tone now is probably very close to what it was before her condition decided to try and take her out - little did it know that Mousey was conserving her energy to fight back! There is nothing about about her singing range that was caused by her medications. That is purely her blessed talent!
Brooooo Mousey sounds so different but in a good way, she sounds so good omg i was stuned her voice is super like different but like, i can't even explain because i'm speechless and it's just super good.

No one who is professionally trained sings in their "real" voice. That's the whole point of training. Singing is inherently different from just speaking. It's why scientific studies have been done that show singing can be a useful and valid way to help people with speech impediments. Some people who literally cannot talk normally can sing just fine. Singing and talking literally activate different parts of the brain. They are different things by nature.
Definitely not, it's pretty easy to tell that mouse is straining pretty hard to get that low and can't maintain it for long regardless of her health condition.
I mean she is Latina so she is close to a Spanish mom XD
