The 10th anniversary documentary has convinced me to binge the last three seasons of this series, which I thought of as being underrated for a while. Seeing this simple episode was a good way to get audiences at the time back into the series, and it’s admirable how even with a flood plot device it didn’t resort to a disaster film plot typical of some of series 5’s classics. It’s just Thomas getting in another scrape, returning the rescuing favour to Terrence and the banter in between. One small thing I like about this episode was Daisy sheltering herself in the engine shed, highlighting how her common sense by that point told her it was safer in the cosier, more sturdy brick shed when the chances of a flash flood were likely. Sold start all around.
These are very nice accidents. Mrs. Kindley wasn't there to save Thomas from a landslide this time. And the flash flood wasn't high enough to slosh Toby and Thomas' fires, but it did bury Terrance good. That said, I guess Thomas and Terrance are even now. Plus, those are pretty good puns you've written. I'd email you some lines for the next episodes of this season, but my email's pretty much in a jam right now.
Great to have you back again! XD very funny episode. Love the lines of dialog, Especially around the point Thomas decides to 'play pig today.' Nice tie in with the snow episode too, and having Thomas help Terrance out is nice to see too! Can't wait for more episodes from you in the future. "You don't even have any paint! Your naked!" XD
Good to have you back Thomas1Edward2Henry3. Tell us what do you have in store for this season? will we see the eyes again, have sine American trains come to help the engines, have Doctor Who appear out of nowhere in the TARDIS? Only you you can give us the answers. seriously though great episode and i cant wait to see what we have in store for Thomas and his friends this season. Your friend and number 1 Thomas fan Logan Kerr
If I was in the train almost 70 years ago and then in the train Thomas was pulling when he got in the landslide I would say it is almost like how it was almost 70 years ago.
Maybe you could make an episode about a rivalry between Duck and Spencer about who's heritage is better, and other things about themselves. Duck could try and prove the Great Western Way to Spencer, and Spencer could try and show Duck the LNER Way, leading him into trouble. What do you think?
“Shut up, Toby. You don’t even have any paint. You’re naked!!” My favorite part of the video 😂 Thomas ain’t wrong though
VERY VERY good point
Because he's made out of wood
My favorite part is that😂
*THOMAS*: "Mud and I don't mix!"
*ME*: Says the one who actually enjoyed playing mud with Rosie in "Splish Splash Splosh" from Season 13.
We don’t talk about that era
Yep
We don’t talk about that
@@ScottishEngineStudios haha I was gonna say that 😄😄😄😄🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂

The first time I’ve ever seen Terrence NOT smiling 😂
5:52
Thomas:You don't have paint You're naked
😂😂😂😂
You're back. The flooding was great! The prodigal fun returns! :)
EnterprisingEngine93, you could create a remake of this episode where you could narrate throughout the whole episode.
"I'd say we're in deep-"
"Oh no, it's Terence!"

I'm so glad you returned to the series, keep up the good work! :)
you could say Thomas doesn't like mudslides. They're coarse and rough and irritating, and they get everywhere. Love a good prequal pun xD
now this is a thomas-centric story i wish i'd written. well done, and good to c u back in action
I'm seeing this quite late, but all the same, great work as usual, your stories don't cease to impress!
Back in the TV series did anyone find Terrence to be a little bit creepy because he always smiles like that and never change emotions ?
+Levi McCrary good I thought I was the only one
+Isaac Innis It was weird, but I never questioned it.
+Isaac Innis Also he didn't move his eyes much like the engines.
+Andrew Schmitt IKR
Why is that? I know that all of the engines used eye mechanisms.
4:40 Hello Thomas...it looks like you are playing 🐷 today!
super and welcome back dude!
Awesome pilot episode! :)
I can't wait to see what in store for Season 3! :)
:)
I really enjoyed your first episode of season 3. I especially liked your narrating. I can't wait for episode 2 :)
Great Story. Love the plot.
With the water, it looks like the engines are flying above the rails. Great job btw!
"As soon as he reached Dryaw, he felt a large drip." - irony
Very well done btw.
So close! You finished the sentence but you forgot one more word (very). it is actually: “As soon as he reached Dryaw, he felt a very large drip.”.
Dryaw is not dry now, it's just Aw.
"You don't even have any paint, your naked!"
ooooooo BURRN
well done. AMAZING WORK!
I always imaged the windmill surrounded by water but never thought I would see it
Engines of Sodor... like the comedy one? I'm pumped if so
4:30 "I'd say we're in deep SHIT."
nice to see you back and kicking I needed a little comedy hope you stay well ;)
3:57 I've been trying to find the name of this ditty for a year now. Do you know the name?
It plays after Thomas departs when his crew put fish in his tank.
It's from Thomas Goes Fishing.
This in my opinion is your best work yet! Great job and keep about the good work!
3:29 - I believe there is a man standing by the windmill, fully submerged! How funny!
well done, on making it to season 3. the series so far have been terrific! Bravo:)
Nice! I wish that Terence will return to the show soon.
Xandardorf he has returned to the show
Thomas: Shut up Toby! You don’t even have any paint! You’re naked!
Stationmaster: FLASH FLOOD!!!! GET TO HIGH GROUND!!!!
4:09
Thomas: Wet
The Station: "Dry" aw
wow I was watching this when it was raining
Thomas probably hated the mud cause of the splashing game he played with Rosie back in 2009.
Yeah probably.
You're Back!
I like this video because it relives when Thomas got stuck in the snow and gets pulled out by Terrence.
Finally! Great to see a new episode mate! Your biggest English fan :)
Wonderful episode! Nice job!

Botheration is my line! Also, great episode I really liked this one.
HORRAY! I love your videos, their better than AWSOME!
5:10 CRAP RUN SHARON MILLERS BACK
I don't get it.
3:28 man standing by the windmill drowned. Rip man by windmill
XD
That looks awesome.
Feels educational like teaching people the dangers and effects of flash floodings 😯
great episode
Flooding is dangerous well Thomas saves the day.
HE'S BACK!
a great job as always
3:04 oh no
amazing story!
YES ITS FINALLY HERE! Btw nice episode
Awesome graphics
"thomas forced his way through the rain, as it pounded him hard as him went farther" Thats what she said.
Great episode
Percy is 106 years old and he still acts like a 2 year old.
Wow Daisy does have a good point but I have to agree with her.
Very muddy and very good day for Thomas.
Bad weather too.
5:53 toby: 😳
I really like your series
that's the best I've seen
LOL I just had the worst storm ever yesterday afternoon!
This was fun, however I don't see how Thomas would be capable of moving through water like that.
Percy did it, so can Thomas.
Terence is returning to the TV show in Season 21 in the episode Terence Breaks the Ice.
Congrats on 10000
Submarines I mean
6:11 then Toby and Thomas tried to move but the coulden't without a driver "OH NO WE ARE GOING TO DIE"!!!!
YAYAYAY YOUR BACK!
If I was in the train almost 70 years ago and then in the train Thomas was pulling when he got in the landslide I would say it is almost like how it was almost 70 years ago.

What do you think?
how do you make the day to night and rain please tell me
Your Thomas voice sounds Ten Cents
Ten cents from TUGS?
FASCINATIN!
I agree with thomas
Is this Noah's Ark in Thomas form?
You doing all the voices now?
wait how does thomas kown how it is in a washing machine?
Toby has paint ie his number
How on earth did a flash flood come towards Ffarquhar from up Anopha? There isn't any water works up there.
yeah thomas did you decide to play pig haha lol
Nice

Can I recommend an idea for your railway series?
who else expecting toby to be flung off the tracks?
I Have An Question Why Thomas' Wheels Are Invisible Under Water???
AwesomeSenpai// A.S. GAMING trainz logic
Wat happened to annie and clarabell after the flashflood hit?
lol its like in some big shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
Why isn't Jakerbraker123 voicing Thomas?
Isaac Jenkin to save time
Did Thomas leave toby on his own at the station 😭
5:57
Thomas: You don't have any paint Toby, you're naked
Me: Now why hasn't the police told Sir Topham Hatt to paint Toby
True Toby is naked
Couldn't have you have used your normal voice for Thomas?
COME ON WHAT THE FUCK IS TAKING SO LONG!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Since when where the passengers understanding
Thomas did get blocked by a landslide kinda like the same one he got stuck in
Almost 70 years ago? So this is set in like 2016? That's unrealistic, this is supposed to be set in the 1950s.
+Frowny13 (Frowny Taboban) who cares? this guy can have his seires take place in whatever year he wants
+Thomas Fan Forever You know I would love to do a series but unfortunately I not know how to do them or effects that is I know nothing,
Then again this is like a comedy sort of thing so it doesn't surprise me that this is set in the modern era.
Technically it was closer to 80 years ago when you made this(it was in 1948)
