Transcribed by ear, I wanted to tackle this HOT new song with my Baritone 6-string in Double Drop Eb tuning! This was a crazy song to transcribe by ear, but luckily some of the parts I was able to learn by watching some of their live videos. The interlude and ending funky solos are my own improvised jams! Hope you dig them! I feel they add a lot to this cover instead of just not playing for the 1-2 minutes of instrumental ambience.
Custom made by Blackworm Instruments, ‘Venom’ tuned to Double Drop C#1 then pitch shifted +2 semitones with the Neural DSP Gojira Whammy Pedal. All pitch shifts with NDSP Gojira, Rhythm tones by Fortin Nameless, first solo with Archetype Petrucci, and my own improvised live solos during the interlude and ending funky section with Cory Wong.

Dude it’s so unique and so much fun to jam on! Especially when it’s tuned lower than a 4-string bass lol Double Drop C#1 is insane I never thought I’d get this low on a guitar let alone a fuckin 6-string lmao I actually just it a 6-string set of Dingwall BASS strings to try out so that will make for an interesting video when I decide to change strings!
