We do an oyster omelette which is oysters fried with a slurry and eggs which is amazing!
I want to try kaki-fry now!
We eat dip fried Oyster or bake with spinach and cheese.

@@melodyleong Are you referring to or-lua, the egg-tapioca+flour+potato starch oyster omelette? I like it too! Gooey chewy but it is not easy to find them fried with nice, fresh oysters these days.
We eat fried oysters with fried green tomatoes with lemon squeezed over them. So good 😊

Moes English is getting so much better now that I forget to turn on subtitles when videos start. Also Sutans English is proof that kids absorb knowledge way better than adults. (Loved the video with the ukulele -Sutans English is so good and Moe has come a long way)
Aww the fact that Sutan didn't freak out when her Papa came home must mean that she sees him a lot now that he's not working at the restaurant. That makes me so happy 🤗😇🥰

It's amazing that Sutan is so vocal and already learning a second language! I don't have kids of my own but from stories I've heard from friends and family, not all children her age are that articulate so it's amazing how well spoken she already is! Sutan being introduced to 2 diff languages from such a young age is a very good move. If she continues learning,she'll be really fluent by 10 with regular interactions in both languages

I love that Sultan is so inquisitive about every step of the cooking process. Once she gets old enough to safely handle a knife and use frying oil, she'll be able to make episodes all on her own!
I've never had oysters, but my father-in-law likes to eat them raw with a bit of salt and some hot sauce. One of my brothers likes them fried, and my mom doesn't like them at all. I'd love to try them, especially if they're fried like this!
Have been watching this channel for a few months. Today is the first time I realized sutan is starting to be so articulate. She speaks so much with new words, not quite like a toddler anymore. Grows up so fast!

Watching the mom making the fried oysters was good but having the cute daughter just puts it over the top. That little girl just has the cutest face and words that make you smile. I've never seen a tartar sauce made with boiled mashed egg, pickled daikon, and pickled Japanese cucumber. I know Japanese mayonnaise is different from American mayonnaise, but the combination makes me very curious to try the recipe out. Thanks for the great video.

I remember my mother use to get me to bake with her when I was young .. cakes, brownies and cookies .. I never really was into it but I did it anyway. Only when I got older did I realize what she was doing by including me. She passed away recently and it's some of my best memories and I wish I would have cherished them more while they were happening. Great video.

We eat oysters all the time here in New Orleans, my favorite is char grilled over a fire with butter, garlic and parmesan cheese . We open the shells and leave it on one side. So good. Love your recipe too.

We get huge metal grates and put it on top of cinder blocks and start a fire underneath. Then we roast/smoke the oysters over the fire and shuck them to eat the oyster. Yum! Excellent cooking as always.
