Great review thank you i went to order the bike but unfortunately the bike is only available in the black, red and white colour in the UK the other colours aren’t available and I really wanted the brown will keep watching your great reviews and see what else is available as I’m in no hurry still doing a lot of conventional cycling.
Hi there ! i have just got this ot16/2, i have noticed, pedal assist kicks in in gears 1 to 5, than at 6, 7 it turns off, to reach 15mph i have to pedal like crazy at gear 5 . how does your work ? Thanks
yeah same on mine, kinda confused if that's a fault or intentional... it feels a bit strange at times where you're pedaling on low gear, and you have to really do it like crazy then the motor kicks in, then it stops, then kicks in again, so you increase gear, same deal, increase again, then it's really sluggish to even manage to pedal because your assist is like "nope, I'm done"; and that's around 15kph, far from the announced limit of 25 - I mean yeah it can reach 25, probably even higher if you can manage to pedal that fast, but, that's without the motor :\
@@hivewaspyep, sadly more and more reviews on the OneSport website are not the best about this bike. Uphils is ok, but on a flat surface using the 7th gear w/o pedal assist is pointless.
@@kdenisz424 I see two reviews that are kinda relevant on the site, one from Tarek D. and one from Momshad H. I don't really need the 25 kph don't get me wrong, that's not my point. But considering that the bike can have a throttle, and that with it it can apparently manage and maintain the 25kph - I wonder why the assist is so finicky; this morning I managed to drive with 7th gear and some assist, somewhat downslope... on flat ground I had to drop down to 5th gear to feel the assist again, and it's a struggle to maintain 20kph - another thing I don't really like on this bike are the pedals, they feel slippery - on a normal bike ok you have almost constant pressure on the pedals, but with the assist the pressure's uneven and your pedal tends to move from toes to heel overtime, which is not very safe or comfortable. Pedals can easily be replaced but that's extra cost (granted the OT-16 isn't exactly an expensive ebike either)
This seems like a great bike to buy then modify like BMX style bars, a shunt mod and maybe even a different controller so it's not locked.... That could be a nice bike at 48v 750w w/ an unlimited controller, plus I really like the black, red and white because it's my color scheme on my bikes. 👍😁

Thank you for your comments, I will pass your comments on to management and they will decide whether to launch other colors in the UK
What’s great about it he’s just a hooligan. He likes to wreck things.

Is this unlocked because that's what I need?
Steve did you check to see if there's a speed restrictor wire on the speed controller ?
No I didn't
Can't unlock 15.5mph.
Anyone else struggling to get one delivered to uk. Website doesn’t allow my delivery address
Did you use the UK link?
Cracked it now thanks, let me know if you find the unlock sequence
It's less than a grand and would be great in a city 💯
Yes, and this ebike can be folded for easy portability
I think my gran would love something like this. I'd prefer her on this to a mobility scooter
