I’ve been trying to find vendors that sell great quality I-tip extensions through WhatsApp. One vendor sent me the i-tip hair and the tips were huge. I was so frustrated and thought I wasted my money but now you gave me hope. Lbs.
Just a friendly bit of advice, spray a little water on the tip of the hair where you’d apply the keratin glue so it can open up the cuticle of the hair to make the bond stronger.
I love your channel! I've been having micro ring extensions for years, recently mixed with la weave at the back and I gotten so many more ideas for weave methods I want to try after watching your video!. I'm by no means a hairdresser but I love tipping/re-tipping my own hair from a weft. I'm sure hairdressers hate doing it but I find it so therapeutic sat in front of the tele with a pile of hair and some manky straighteners. Plus I can make them nice and thick (pet hate 0.8g strands) and choose my own hair. My hairdresser just comes to fit them then :) I was wondering what type of keratin you use? I've tried loads with varying results (probably partly due to me clearly not being a hairdresser at first to be honest..but i have got better at it now) All the coloured ones (amber in my case) have been shocking and have basically disintegrated in to what looks like a hideous case of dandruff after 3 weeks! Same thing for all the 'cheap' keratin i've tried. I use beautyworks and more recently foxy (which is amazing) now having bought them based on reviews. But they are way more expensive than most other glues out there. Is the No1 Hair Factory glue in your link good or were you just giving a example of what type of items you need for tipping? It works out way cheaper than what i'm using now so if it is i'd love to try it. Or if not could you tell me what you use instead please? :)

I was wondering if you could also use the loose hair from a jumbo braid and if a home rather than professional quality extension gun would still be ok to make the i tips? Thanks.
+Happy Heaps hi it really depend on what hair you want to use. It is really difficult to get nice curly hair that is pre-tipped so I have to tip curly hair for clients a lot. Also clients often come with bulk indian hair that needs to be tipped or wefted.
it is. its like $100+ just for 50 tips and average is around 100-150 needed. it adds up. you can get the bundles needed for less and just make them yourself. in my case i need 200 strands so instead of paying $400 i can just get the bundles for aBout $150 and the tools for $30 and save money.
Hi it really depends on how large you make each stand. If the bundle is an 100gram bundles maybe 80 strands because you will lose hair in making the tips. A full head install needs 150-200 strands if your hair is thin then most likely can only take 150 because they start to show, if your hair is thick then make 200

Ingrid Millie Bobby-Brown hi no you can wash as normal recommend that you wash in natural direction like in a shower not flipped over a sink. Use products with reduced or no sodium, if it smells very fruity it would have to much acid or alcohol in and all of those product dry hair out. Also when it’s wet make sure to NEVER tie up wet hair and blowdry the roots or the tangle like crazy
tacthom personally I prefer pre-tipped hair for my brazilian knots or hair with weft still on but cut into small sections to install. I don’t really use bulk hair unless I really have to. Just find it messing and that I sometimes loose hair

Hahahaha girl is annoying so K-too are keratin bonds, I-tip& stick tip are micro links/bead strands, flat tips are also keratin tips. And yes the name of all strand based Extensions are micro tips or micro strands

I use 3 bundles and aim to get 170-200 strands I remove the short strands that come with bundles to make each strand thicker from top to bottom so you end up with less strands if that makes sense I will try to do a more details video

Hi I get my Italian keratin glue from a local company but have had really good quality form eBay before my gun is from eBay but I have started using cheap hair straighteners they work really well I will do a new video showing how I use them

+Marie Petite hi Hun I normally used 3bundles if double drawn hair you will only use 2.5bundles for 200 strands, if not double drawn I like to brush out the short strands so the bundles become less and then you will need 3

I just did this to my hair about 6 weeks ago. I still have it it and I love it but the only downfall is the shedding.

It is way more cost effective I have found. Most pre made hair isn't as good quality as the bundle stuff.

after it's worn for a month or 2 and you take it down to reuse hair, does the glue crumble?
