I got 2 frozen ore from a 'snow stalker' in the lower right corner in that zone. It ate a bunch of arrows and my knife before I killed it. I'll avoid that again until I get a hunting rifle.
If you get a trophy bench and skinning knife, use that knife to harvest the animals. You'll get a head. You can then mount them for wall decor. The bench also makes fur rugs. Pretty neat for your living area.
Really like your stream, except your sound output. Last episode was great with your output about same as ads.. but in this you are back to old settings = very low sound output. Not a problem, just crank up the volume, until an ad break, where I scare the crap out of my neighbors 😂 Know this stream is probably done, but something to look at in the future?
I found so many nice spots on this map when doing missions that I ended up making 5 "small" bases around the map. The spot you mentioned at 9.40 being one of them :P Still haven't been deep into the lava biome, so I'll probably end up making one there too.
try the miasmic research next. its like this mission but for miasmic weapons. pretty sweet
