I'm glad to hear how serious you all are about this sport, this game, and this team. I know trading Kadri wasn't easy but I think there is a lot of people who don't understand how important Kadri and his father are to hockey. They embrased our country, our culture and our sport. Through their love for this game, they brought an army of fans with them from their own community who embraced everything it meant to have Kadri on this team in this city. To those fans, I hope you continue to love this city, this team and this sport. I love hockey and I hope to see the whole world embrace this sport. To Kadri, It's been an honour to watch you play this game with passion and love. Good luck my friend and never stop chasing that cup.
Robertson is the real deal. Literally a direct comparison to Trevor Moore. Some people say he is farther along the Moore was it this stage.

The 2 first round picks might save you another million or 2 for the ELCs the players would have to sign. Nickels and dimes that have saved most of the forward depth.
Montreal has 4 tenders and bringing in jake Allen was very smart. I can't believe Bergeron will stick with 4tenders. I was hoping the leafs would have grabbed jake Allen and for a3rd rounder. That was sweet. Now Dubas should go after Price. How much for Price, Nylander and johnsson and a 2nd rounder.

Dubas is so green but this is our leader so we must allow him more time, another year to learn and grow . I always say fire dubas but let's see if he can pull the leafs out of this mess. Come December and I will be back to saying fire Dubas now.

So no longer mistakenly drafting a John Doherty in the second round because you scouted him by film only and you didn't realize those guys he was skating around where actually high school students? Steve Penney??? No more drafting 3 Belleville Bulls in the same round because I guess the scouts couldn't pull themselves away from the strip joint you thought was a Swiss Chalet?

Very expensive, very corporate enterprise. Only a few actually have success drafting beyond top 15 or so. Seems u can't just thro corp guys/money at it.
Then u spend all that effort to find and develop one... & they turn into nylander or marner (greed).. Crazy process.
The team is valued at something like $1.5 billion so yes very corporate, expensive etc. Welcome to the world as we know it.

Time to go back to the drawing board boys! The Leafs will never win with a team of no heart 5 footers no matter how hard they try and push the tiny fast agenda the only way that works is if all the other teams build the same way. if you have a 5 foot 5 player going into the corner with a 6 foot 2 opposition player both the same skill level 99 times out of a hundred the 6 foot 2 guy comes out with the puck! Sure you can have 2 or 3 smaller guys but that's all! Not line after line.
