- Afternoon bedding and scraping chores for our "special needs" group and our two free stall groups. Cow comfort and cleanliness are two especially important factors on today's dairy operations.
I don't know how I stumbled on your channel. I'm a Marylander myself. I'm a white collar professional, so I travel around Maryland a bit for work. Mostly Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Prince George's, Montgomery, Caroline, Kent, Talbot, Dorchester, Howard Counties. I'm not familiar with farm life so I really find if fascinating to watch. Maintaining those cows is a never ending amount of work clearly. And the amount of daily feed just blows me away. But I can see how much the labor is improved by the heavy equipment. In the old days, scraping out manure would have been less efficient or pleasant.
Appreciate some in-state love in the comments! The dairy industry has come a long way thanks to technology. In fact, some farms scrape their manure out with robots now instead of skid loaders. Hearing stories from and seeing pictures of my pop pop and great uncle farm back in their day certainly gives me a greater appreciation. I wouldn’t have lasted very long in their days.
Are you going to have a merchandise site set up soon? T-shirts, hats etc. You should have Jill advertise her farmers market so that you can get more GoPros and mounting devices for more angles. We need to get you to a 1,000 subscribers to get you monetized. Going to need to come up with a viral video to get more promotion from the RUclips algorithm.
Sounds like I have my marketing exec hire made. Just going to keep at it, maybe it takes a few years to get to that point, maybe it never happens, but this is the only way to find out!

I appreciate the support, especially hearing from within the industry. I am trying to strike a balance between educational and entertaining so both those within and outside the agricultural community can enjoy.
