The first tier 1 trader you find willl have tier 2 quests after you unlock the bicycle and so one first trader you find can have all the way up to tier 5 quests I'm not sure if it goes any higher so if you find a place you like and wanna stay don't let the quests the traders offer determine where ur main home is. I normally just make a base near each trader I find
Also some clear quests you won't be able to find the last zombie (unless it got patched) if you destroy any generator you find it will spawn more zombies to kill alot of times this will complete the quest also look for switches that activates things that release more zombies
Loving all the new POIs and models - lot of fun watching you stab your way through it all. True story: Fort McPherson was a real military base in south GA - which did have an official "ufo incident" back in 1948.

i miss the old XP system, where you would level up skills by using specific actions. Want to level up mining? MINE! Want higher stamina? RUN! I don’t know when they changed it, but now it’s just a flat XP gain 😢 Also miss the old crafting progression, where every time you craft an item, it would be a higher level

It's a shame that console players like myself will have to pay $45 for the overhaul and will lose all the old saves from the old game🥲 Still can't wait though!

Few tips , get an empty spot on your tool belt and look at any pond or lake for a few seconds, you should be able to drink your fill with that purifier mod .
I have been playing for years. I just pick a spot and live in it regardless of where the trader is. I don’t like having to move all my loot repeatedly.
I wish knives had perk books... same with Axes and sledges really. Although I guess Sledges might not need them, even without special perks the lvl up perks make them pretty beastly. Edit: Trailer park also has what, 6 mail boxes? Great early game stop in random gen maps. Edit 2: I do love AGI tree... you haven't even started putting points into atk spd up for the knives yet have you? Also I think Crit healing is injury speed healing (like sprains and stuff)
I just checked steam and the last time I played this was 8 YEARS AGO. Glad to see its finally released and actually looks a lot better graphically for once but it still looks like a 10 year old game remastered for PC. I might actually re-download it now that I can stomach the graphics. Yes im one who likes graphics and gets more immersed when they look good. Graphics isn't everything but to me it is. If you dont have graphics then you just have a story book with no pictures. if that makes sense.
this game now looks close to state of decay 2 graphically and it has so many things state of decay doesn't its no longer hard to choose between them 7 days is the winner
Genuine question for Royal, do you think this games meta relies far too much on just cranking out quests at the trader, because it seems that there is no viable strategy to advance through the game? Do you think the developers should add another avenue of advances through the game to diversify gameplay?
This has been the worst looking game in my library for 10 years now. Fun game, but just dirty looking. I stopped playing zombie games years and years ago because its lazy and boring. But this now looks amazing. Re-installing.

Personal favorite change is the journal quests and the rewards you get from them. love watching you play 7d2d again

The game actually has a road map showing the new updates. It won't be complete until Q4 of 2025.

I don't know if they fixed this in 1.0 but you can clear the building before you start the quests and get double the loot.
How would they fix that? Not resetting would break the quests.

Game is $45 lol I was excited, but Helldivers 2 was only 40. TFP have lost their gd minds. I was willing to pay $30, but this isnt worth $45. Period.
