Like she said, read the prospectus, they really don't know if the tax free treatment is legal. There are multiple articles around where some lawyers explain why gains will likely become taxable.

Sounds like more risk due to Theta. Plus, a hefty ER and it’s still income if I don’t keep it for a year. I think I’ll stick with a simple, cheap treasury ETF, there’s a thousand of those.

If you want to communicate effectively with retail investors, you’ll need to do a lot more work on how to focus and simplify your message.

I suspect there are more risks than you pointed out for BOXX. So, I don't want to be the guy holding the bag if there's an implosion, in order to maybe save a small amount on taxes. Nevertheless, I love to learn about the possibilities!

This sounds extremely complicated which means just put it in a 5% treasury pay the tax
There’s really no way to beat the newest greatest thing. Maybe this will work who knows right?

BOXX sounds like a black box to me. Too complicated and not sufficiently transparent for me.

This is hilarious and kinda cool. I could see this becoming very popular if it was done with other bond funds and not just 1-3 mo treasury
