Was just talking about Dinosaurs and the absolutely insane ending yesterday! Love the Mario too, the fireball just looks like a hot Cheeto is growing out of his palm.
Very cool that you appreciate these enough to make a video about them. I still buy these constantly. Hope you can get one of those Tchotchke Shelves for them just like back in the day. As always, great video.
@@doc2ur_who thank you! Yeah I figured I had so many that I could talk about them in a video. If I do find one of those shelves, I’ll probably make another video haha
Those are all so great! I've got a pretty big collection of PVCs from this era. My favorite of yours is Porkchop. I was a huge Doug fan. I looked up more of those Hardee's Nickelodeon toys. There are some SICK ones. Great stuff as always, and you always manage to make me realize I "need" more stuff :)
Awesome figures! Although I never owned those back in the day, it brings back memories. I wouldn't mind getting some Smurf ones since it is my favorite cartoon from when I was young. I have my original Gargamobile hanging out with my Transformers in my display case. He needs some Smurfs to catch hahaha!
My childhood friend had dozens of the Smurfs figures, was a bit jealous (even though I was more of a Hot Wheels kid). Don't remember ever seeing them in stores, though. But I think I had one of the Garfield figures from that same series
The shelf to store them on would look nice. I don't remember having many little PVC figures as a kid. I had one Garfield. I still have him. As an adult I bought some Strawberry Shortcake, Smurfs, Scooby Doo, Donald Duck, Bugs Bunny and a bunch more. I really like the idea of putting them on a small shelf. I think I'm going to try and find one and display them so they are easier to see.
@@lisae7976 thanks! Yeah I just found like a curio shelf that I love, but it’s big with bigger shelves. So I’m going to use it for some larger figures. Still looking for one for these small toys though!
I had tons of those PVC figures when I was a kid. My grandmother would find them at garage sales, or my dad would get them for me from work when he was working at Burger King. I had all of those California Raisins figures, I had both of those Garfield figures, I had both Smurfette figures as well as tons of the other Smurfs ones, and I had two different versions of the Alvin and the Chipmunks ones. One set was just the three Chipmunks in various poses, wearing their regular outfits that we always saw in the cartoon, and the other was them playing instruments with Alvin playing the base guitar, Simon playing the Saxophone, and Theodore holding drum sticks and came with a drum set to sit him in front of. And while I didn't have that Teddy Ruxpin figure, I had, and still have, the Tweeg figure. So the Teddy Ruxpin figures weren't actually connected to the cartoon. They were just part of the marketing for the original talking Teddy Ruxpin. The cartoon just happened to be part of that marketing. As I mentioned, my dad worked at Burger King for a couple of years when I was really little, like three and four, so he brought home all of the Burger King Kids Club toys for me. Including the one on the dolphin. That kid's name is I.Q. because he was the stereotypical '80s/'90s nerd character.
@@TheCassettePhase Lol. Only on things I experienced growing up. I had to look up the names of the Burger King Kids Club kids, because I'm hoping to do a blog post on that one of these days, and I grabbed images of the toys I had from Google so that when I decide to do the blog post, I can start on it without taking the time to grab the images I need.
