The truth is that he’s past his prime, thank goodness Dan Ashworth, Ineos, Jason Wilcox, Omar Berrada & Jim Ratcliff knows football. Arsenal paid $120 million for Rice who to simple minded people does nothing, who does Rice need to cover him ? That’s why Ugarte will be signed today, no more Casemiro incompetence. He’s a bench player but also on$360k per week, time to move on. I trust the new Man United owners & not some dude on RUclips who knows nothing. Liverpool, Arsenal, City or Chelsea wouldn’t go for him, why is he good enough for United ? Ineos has done everything right so far, the will destroy all that work if they go into the new season without a proper DM.
IMO, he can still be an important player for us. Just need to find the perfect behind him that can play the high line so that we don't leave so much space in behind like last season. Just to buy a good and capable backup like Sander Berge then we're good. Better to keep the money till January and see what happens in case we need more reinforcements elsewhere
