For question 6, Secure SMTP port is 587. Port 465 seems very outdated?

I said C. ONT for question 27 and was confused when I got it wrong so I googled it and to my understanding I got it correct because it says an ONT is a NID. Fiber can also be brought to the premises of a home can’t it??

Are these very similar to the exam?

Not at all. There is not a single “practice test” out there that is actually very similar to the exam. With that being said, how useful these are to you is up to how you use them. Use them as a study guide to make sure you understand everything they’re asked about. If there is an answer choice you don’t know, stop and go study it then come back. If you study to memorize answers you’re going to fail. If you study to truly understand the concept you’ll pass.

Question 3 is infuriating. I know what protocol it's supposed to be using but the question implies it's using the wrong protocol and asking what protocol it is currently using not what protocol it should be using.... I may write more underneath if I got more problems.

Question 5 Why is the answer an unsafe open text port shouldn't the answer be a more secure port.

I see what you’re saying, and I have my own issues with some of this channels questions. With that being said, knowing what protocol might be the cause, does not imply that it is the wrong port being used. If you know what port handles streaming media sessions, then you know that is the port causing the issue.

@@jbrone1241reread the question. They’re asking what port needs to be open to the public at all times. That is port 80. The first sentence is there just to throw you off (which is what the exam will do). Slow down and pull out what is most important.
