THE GAME ITSELF IS ALWAYS ENTERTAINING, BUT THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS BETWEEN SOUTHERN AND GRAMBLING IS ALWAYS THE MAIN EVENT. ANY THE HUMAN JUXEBOX AND THE WORLDFAME GO HEAD TO HEAD IT IS ALWAYS GOING TO BE EPIC. GRAMBLING STATE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE MOST RECOGNIZABLE BRAND IN HBCU FOOTBALL AND THEIR MARCHING BAND HAS BEEN THE GOLD STANDARD FOR ALL HBCU MARCHING BANDS. GRAMBLING STATE UNIVERSITY IS'NT JUST SCHOOL, BUT AN INSTITUTION IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY. GEAUX TIGERS!

Great job GSU! Glad too see you all get back to your style, standards, and identity. Kudos to the new band directors and their music arrangements. You've reinvented your sound to keep up with the musical times of today which is always been about musicianship but today its also about POWER. And your transformation to include power has been a great success. A success that has not compromised who you are nor your identify. Glad to see the footwork being included into your field shows. Oh goodie... I can’t wait til next year when FAMU joins the SWAC.. Then I get to see the two most overrated and over hyped bands in HBCU history!!! Is it that difficult to upgrade your show? It cannot be that hard!? ( please tell the announcer to find something else but mostly different to say)
