No matter how many times I watch this, I still like the interaction between Yeong-jae and Ji-eun. They're cute together. Ji-eun's interaction with the grandma is cute too. Yeong-jae really inherited that trait from his grandma 😂 He's more open and natural with her. Yeah, they bicker over little things all the time but that's the charm. He just can't be honest with himself. He never thought he'll like someone else since Hae-won has been in his live and heart for far too long. You know their chemistry is great when every time they quarrel for real, your heart hurts for them.
I love how Min Hyuk cared for her. I think it's better if they're the ones become a couple in this novel. Young Jae is so mean to her every time just like a kid and even wants to posses her as his own but don't take good care of her. He's just lucky, hes a leading man.
Getting 2nd lead syndrome bad, now. Ji Eun and Min Hyuk seem much better together. Young Jae should have just confessed to Hae Won to begin with. Watching Young Jae treating Ji Eun as a cook and housekeeper and yelling at her all the time gets tiring.

When min hyuk visited to their house I keep laughing to young jae and jin eun 😂😂😂. Nostalgic. My family especially my mom loves this drama so much she really enjoyed for this two couple.sad to say my mom passed away.but the memories still here in my heart.
The old kdrama is very natural without any makeup especially for man actors, and the story of the drama was so natural chemistry, i watched, again and again even it's 100 times never get bored
I remember preferring JiEun to end up or at least consider being with Minhyuk since he treats her better and is so sure of his feelings. Straightforward and thoughtful. The only bothersome thing is he considered pursuing when he knew she was married. But he was conflicted too since he warned Youngjae first and only decided to really try once he knew of the contract.

My perspective of this drama is really different. For me when i see the character of Joon jae he never though that he could fall for a woman other than her childhood friend Hae Won so it was new for him to really Love someone and expressed his feeling, when you look at the caracter you can see that he is a very shy man who wants to love Hae jin but dont just know how to express it, At the end of the drama when the two of them first go their ways he have time to reflect on himself and when they get back together he is more opened to show his love. Dont just limit at the moment he yells , he listen to her and try to make her feel good as much as he can
For ming yhu i think thatit was is first time to be rejected by a woman so it was like a challenge for him to have ji eun by his side. Hae won and ming hyu are both selfish 😅
I was in my twenties when I first watched this series. And it became my most loved korean series until now (the second one is I'm Sorry I Love You, released at the same year). At that time my impression was average for MinHyuk's character, I love YoungJay more because he is funny. Now I rewatch this again after 16 years. I'm already married and surprisingly my view has changed. Girls if you really looking into marriage, go find a man with MinHyuk character, he is smart, he knew his priorities, I don't think he's a player, he just knew what he does, he respect people including woman like how they should be respected, and when he find one that he loves, he really take cares of her, just like Rain to Kim Tae Hee. Full House really teaches us a lot about marriage life.

yeah but dramas nowadays already evovled and tend to have very unpredictable plots and ending and one of the dramas that really had unexpected ending was Love Alarm because people thought that Song Kang is the main lead but it turned out that Kim Sohyun chose the other actor and that made everyond shock because they thought he's just the second lead.
They been together for 3 months and they fall inlove to each other so they decide to divorce because that's the rule of the contract. They're not allowed to fall in love to each other.

I feel like I'm the only one who's not a big fan of Min-hyuk xD I mean, Yeong-jae is an absolute jerk towards Ji-eun and she deserves so much better, but she deserves better than Min-hyuk as well. I have watched this drama loads of times and I always like him in the beginning of the series, but less here in the middle. Here's why: * When he still thought Ji-eun's marriage to Yeong-jae was real, he went behind his friend's back to flirt with his wife and try to "win her over". * He openly questions why she's not in love with him and tries to convince her to like him, like that's some kind of choice she can just make (or be talked into making). * When he realises their marriage isn't real and that she still turned him down because she simply doesn't like him that way, he acts cold towards her as if she's intentionally hurt him, or like she owes him something. * He talks about "taking her", like she's a prize - or at the very least like it's his decision rather than hers. * She's outright told him she'll be his friend and that she likes him as a friend, and yet he still won't stop. Hye-won is terrible to Yeong-jae and Yeong-jae is terrible to Ji-eun, but Min-hyuk is certainly no prince either, in my opinion. I like that he doesn't like the way Yeong-jae treats her, but other than that he's not exactly treating her with that much respect either, not really. What Hye-won has always been to Min-hyuk is now pretty much exactly what he's being to Ji-eun, at the moment. Dong-wook has been a terrible friend to Ji-eun, but you gotta give it to him, at least he treats Hee-jin well! ;)
Points good enough but you got one wrong. In the previous episode, Yeong Jae goes and meets Min Hyuk , Min tells him to hold his ground and not leave openings cause he wants Ji Eun. He didn't do it behind his friend's back. He told him he wanted his wife. I think he didn't buy the lie, especially after the scandal with Hye Won for whom Yeong Jae gets all hot. If your friend is being a jerk you don't have to be as well.
OST songs at @52:00 and @54:35 are always being used for sad scenes 🥺🥺 I watched this drama for the first time during my primary school years with my family, but in high school still talked about the drama with my new friends. Still have the CD of full episodes, last time I did save in the laptop to access them easier. Now in 2021, I no longer knows how many times I have watched the drama but can never get bored.. 😆😆 So glad that it is now available here!! Thank youuu KBS!! My perspective of this drama is really different. For me when i see the character of Joon jae he never though that he could fall for a woman other than her childhood friend Hae Won so it was new for him to really Love someone and expressed his feeling, when you look at the caracter you can see that he is a very shy man who wants to love Hae jin but dont just know how to express it, At the end of the drama when the two of them first go their ways he have time to reflect on himself and when they get back together he is more opened to show his love. Dont just limit at the moment he yells , he listen to her and try to make her feel good as much as he can
For ming yhu i think thatit was is first time to be rejected by a woman so it was like a challenge for him to have ji eun by his side. Hae won and ming hyu are both selfish 😅
I was in my twenties when I first watched this series. And it became my most loved korean series until now (the second one is I'm Sorry I Love You, released at the same year). At that time my impression was average for MinHyuk's character, I love YoungJay more because he is funny.
Now I rewatch this again after 16 years. I'm already married and surprisingly my view has changed. Girls if you really looking into marriage, go find a man with MinHyuk character, he is smart, he knew his priorities, I don't think he's a player, he just knew what he does, he respect people including woman like how they should be respected, and when he find one that he loves, he really take cares of her, just like Rain to Kim Tae Hee. Full House really teaches us a lot about marriage life.

yeah but dramas nowadays already evovled and tend to have very unpredictable plots and ending and one of the dramas that really had unexpected ending was Love Alarm because people thought that Song Kang is the main lead but it turned out that Kim Sohyun chose the other actor and that made everyond shock because they thought he's just the second lead.

I feel like I'm the only one who's not a big fan of Min-hyuk xD I mean, Yeong-jae is an absolute jerk towards Ji-eun and she deserves so much better, but she deserves better than Min-hyuk as well. I have watched this drama loads of times and I always like him in the beginning of the series, but less here in the middle. Here's why:
* When he still thought Ji-eun's marriage to Yeong-jae was real, he went behind his friend's back to flirt with his wife and try to "win her over".
* He openly questions why she's not in love with him and tries to convince her to like him, like that's some kind of choice she can just make (or be talked into making).
* When he realises their marriage isn't real and that she still turned him down because she simply doesn't like him that way, he acts cold towards her as if she's intentionally hurt him, or like she owes him something.
* He talks about "taking her", like she's a prize - or at the very least like it's his decision rather than hers.
* She's outright told him she'll be his friend and that she likes him as a friend, and yet he still won't stop.
Hye-won is terrible to Yeong-jae and Yeong-jae is terrible to Ji-eun, but Min-hyuk is certainly no prince either, in my opinion. I like that he doesn't like the way Yeong-jae treats her, but other than that he's not exactly treating her with that much respect either, not really. What Hye-won has always been to Min-hyuk is now pretty much exactly what he's being to Ji-eun, at the moment. Dong-wook has been a terrible friend to Ji-eun, but you gotta give it to him, at least he treats Hee-jin well! ;)

Points good enough but you got one wrong. In the previous episode, Yeong Jae goes and meets Min Hyuk , Min tells him to hold his ground and not leave openings cause he wants Ji Eun. He didn't do it behind his friend's back. He told him he wanted his wife. I think he didn't buy the lie, especially after the scandal with Hye Won for whom Yeong Jae gets all hot. If your friend is being a jerk you don't have to be as well.
