If you still have the cartridge that came with your vanishing point, you may want to empty it or use it up (maybe in your journaling if you don’t like the ink for your planner), wash it out using your blunt-tip needle syringe, and refill that instead of using the converter. I can’t remember the name of the converter that fits the VP, but it’s notoriously small. The cartridge holds (if I remember correctly) at least a couple of millimeters more than the converter and may give you a bit more time in between refills. Great pens, snd I really like your color scheme.
The vanishing point is my dream pen😍
Love it I have décimo too
I would love to have one!
Thank you so much for sending me the link to this video. Really enjoyed it and awesome job with showing how thorough it was very-very helpful. 😊👍🏼
I got into fountain pens a couple years ago. So far I’ve only bought twsbi echos because they have the demonstrator middle so you can see how much ink, and I keep them inked! I have several colors and like to switch it up when journaling! Purple is my favorite color and I finally found one I love the rich color of! Fountain pens are a lot of fun, and I enjoy using them!
LOVED this video ... pens/markers etc are my kryptonite yet I feel no guilt adding to the collection or wishlist ... thank you for sharing all your current goodies with us!
Great line-up of pens and I totally agree on each. D'Atrematis Inks are great, I've also found TWSBI inks very good too, especially as they're a more lubricating ink made especially for use with Extra Fine and Fine Nibs. I find it interesting that your favourite FP is the Vanishing Point, it's actually my least favourite (and I own over 30 different Fountain Pens because I like to match my pen to my journal cover, so I'm fairly experienced). I get it out every once in a while, fill the refillable cartridge and try to use it, but I only last about an hour then clean it and put it away again. For me, it isn't reliable. Sometimes it works nicely, but not often, mostly I get an uneven script - and I only use it with Tsukineko Iroshizuku Take-Sumi Ink (which is recommended for it). Of all my pens I think my most favourite is the TWSBI Eco (also the least expensive of the FP's I own). The Eco has a huge Ink Well so I can use it for several weeks between refills. As for cleaning, I clean out my pens whenever I put them away for any length of time. I never store a FP with any ink in. Once a month isn't too often, but is more often that you need to if you're using the pen/s often. The most reliable fountain pen I own that I use only rarely (once every month or 2) but also rarely clean or have to change cartridge in, is my Kaweco Lilliput. Brilliant pen. I keep it in my handbag just in case I need to use a pen when I'm out. Thank you so much for your "What's in my Pen Case", I really enjoyed it and I hope something of what I've written is of some use to you. Cheers🌸
the gorgeous tombow series of lines was enough for me to a subscribe an we have it in high def for a phone wallpaper
Thanks for sharing all this!!! I have SO many materials lying around, so I'll have a look at my stash and see what I already have. I use some Uni Pin Fineliners as well. They have some dark gray ones which I really like.
Love my VP fountain pens!
absolutely love your color palette and supplies
I appreciated this! I was super-interested in all the brush pens and fineliners that you are using; looking for good ones for the TR paper.
Thank you for taking your time to show us 🤗 the vanishing point is on top of my wishlist 😁 i don’t know if you ever heared of the zebra sarasa mark on? It dries very quick on hobonichi paper and you can write on labels an post its etc. I have the 0.4, but they have all kinds of sizes. AND i put my refill in a pentel clena body because it looks nicer and has the grip ☺️
hello lindsey, i love your videos:) can u also make a video of bullet journal setup that u make probably for 2022 in the leuchtturm 1917 bujo ewdition 2 i have it since a year and have no idea how to use it.
Love your video! I bought all the Tombow colored ones you mentioned!🥰🥰
I truly enjoyed watching this. Thank you!💋
This was so helpful! Thank you for sharing!
I love my Delde limited edition pouch from Jet Pens. I also use a Champagne barrel EF Vanishing Point w/DeAtremenis ink in my pen loop for my Weeks daily. I have not had any leakage in my Fossil bag. I trust it! I also use the Clena .4 on my Hobonichi paper. It does smear if I use a mildliner on top of ink. I have to highlight first, then write/label. I have another Vanishing Point M nib in my A6 Hobonichi Techo Original. I also use Diamine Ancient Copper in my TWSBI. Love everything you shared!
i was just about to buy energel clena to use with zebra midliners... but it smears? :( really disappointed to hear
Beautiful page Sis!! 🥰💗🥰
This is so helpful! Thank you ☺️
Thanks for sharing the pens you like to use…. I want to find a fountain pen to write with and you gave me ideas!
Nicely done!
Thank you!
I love this video, thank you so much! I am waiting for my first Hobonichi Cousin to arrive next week. In anticipation, I've tested a bunch of pens myself today on Tomoe River paper to see which ones do not smear when you use highlighters. In addition to the pens you mention, I can add that Uchida's Marvy Le Pen performs beautifully and does not smear. It's a 0.38 mm tip pen that writes very smoothly and "softly." It's a very thin pen (in terms of its body and feel in one's hand). It also dries very quickly for me, but I live in a dry climate. I like it a lot!
I find the tip on Le Pen wears down very quickly.
@@loiscassels8966 Yeah, you might be correct. I am trying to not put pressure on the tips when I use them. I just got two new pens and will see if that makes a difference. I love how smooth they are, though.
Great video, thank you !! The Ferris Wheel brush pen is a mystery to me. Can you tell a difference to a “normal” fountain pen?
Thank you for sharing all this!
The fountain pens look really interesting 🧐 especially since I’ve started using hobonichi products for work, but have been struggling to find a pen that dries dark & doesn’t smear.
Aside from ballpoint pens, have you found anything else that works?
will sakura pigma pens work? sometimes i use them for a non-smudge guarantee with highlighters (or anything, really), but haven't used them in hobonichi only on normal paper
Several ef, mine have not been scratchy....
