Besides politics I can tell you my personal experience of Indo-Nepal and China-Nepal relationships. China gave us aid to build a road in my hometown in 90s. They sent their own engineers and the road that was built was 1st class, smooth and still is very strong. No pot holes no cracks its amazing. Now then comes in 2000 India govt "PROMISED" to do the same but results were far from same. That road is direct in front of our house. They excavated the perfectly fine and SMOOTH road and build the road. Took over a year to build, Within 6mths of building there were potholes appearing all over, the road is cracked beyond repair and took us a millions to repair. To this date the road never recovered. So yeah, you can see where my support is going.

Besides politics I can tell you my personal experience of Indo-Nepal and China-Nepal relationships. China gave us aid to build a road in my hometown in 90s. They sent their own engineers and the road that was built was 1st class, smooth and still is very strong. No pot holes no cracks its amazing.
Now then comes in 2000 India govt "PROMISED" to do the same but results were far from same. That road is direct in front of our house. They excavated the perfectly fine and SMOOTH road and build the road. Took over a year to build, Within 6mths of building there were potholes appearing all over, the road is cracked beyond repair and took us a millions to repair. To this date the road never recovered. So yeah, you can see where my support is going.
