It's crazy how good this looks with such simple steps.
I’d love to see a German Hannomag with the stripy woodland Camo done without using an airbrush, I’ve seen you can use bluetack but I’ve been too scared to try it myself!
get masking putty... blutac is an adhesive and can remove your paint.
I wish I could post pictures to this but I just want to say: I got into tabletop wargaming a few months before COVID started with some Napoleonic and ancients. About six months ago I ordered a bunch of bolt action sets. I painted a squad from each major nation and they were ok nothing terrible but absolutely below average. Which I expected I'm a below average painter. But I finally decided to actually watch a painting tutorial and paint along for once. The first video of yours I tried that with was your us airborne tutorial....I watched the video once through and then went back and painted and paused a bit and the very first model I did came out incredible. No exaggeration it is by far the best paint job I've ever done after one video. I wouldn't even have said this if I wasn't so shocked especially when I put it next to an a us airborne figure I painted before watching the video. Again I'm not a good painter but for the first time I have a legitimately good looking model. So needless to say I'm going on a binge of your tutorial list to do all the rest lol. But yeah man thank you this helped immensely
You give me faith brah, about to have my first crack at painting....
Hows your painting developed now?
This man is a total beast
Two days in a row 😳
Painting "A whole army of them" is an understatement.
Could we please get an WW2 Italians painting tutorial (blue-grey) to go with the new Warlord plastic release?
Have played "What a Tanker"? well worth a look.
I painted a DnD model today... a bit of green stuff in a GW model sounds like heaven xD
very nice!
Great painting work here. Awesome project.
nice
Great work!
Have you considered any planes, like the Corsair F4U? Think you’d make one look amazing.
Why am i watching this im supposed to be doing homework lmao oh well time for PTW
Please add numbers to the list of used paints. And could you do a video of how to paint a Panzer IV without an airbrush?
Great work, but what does the brown shade do? Create shadows?
Please, What kind of brush are you using? Make, Type, Model. Thanks in advance!
Thanks for video! But what wargame are this tanks for? Are they 1/72 scale?
For the game Flames of War
They're for flames of war, in 1/100 scale
@@brennonsmith5006 @MintyFreshMetagross thanks!
I have some Sherman's primed with a grey. What would the result be if I tried this technique without a black primer?
you probably got the answer yourself by this time :D
although if anyone's wondering grey primer will result in lighter overall look of the model as all the colour will be drybrushed on lighter surface and you will have less colour contrast. as a result model could look a bit flat. it can "fixed" by applying dark washes in some areas or using other technics.
Wait a minute. This isn’t Warhammer!
Still gonna watch the whole thing tho.
"what are these, leman russess for ratlings?"
Wait where's the advanced video??
Tanks. Like angry sheds.
i watched too much of NighShift xD
second
Thank you for great video. But IMO, the highlight created by the light color edges is too much. I see thousand of pictures of real tanks, they dont have that level of highlight at the edge. In real life, the tank's main color looks much more uniform than what modelers are usually doing. The over contrast tank models look impressive for about few seconds, then we will feel something wrong because they just dont look real.
