Bro! I had a 2 week training class for a job I once had and the trainer said "go ahead" so freakin' much, I have PTSD from it. I wanted to watch the video but I just couldn't because of that. There is never a reason to need to say "go ahead." Every sentence is the same if you remove it. E.g., "let's go ahead and play this forest" is just the same as "let's play this forest."

I think it’s probably right to name Wish with the Stone Brain, though tbh I don’t really like Stone Brain as a card. I’m not sure I follow the logic of a storm player seeing Stone Brain and thus bringing in Grape Shot. I get the idea of “well the Stone Brain player could just name Wish and then I can’t win,” but if that’s the prevailing logic then you can assume most Stone Brain players will assume you bring it in, and you can blank their first Stone Brain by not doing so (exactly what happened to you here). I think it’s mostly a mind game but I think in principle if you are going to play Stone Brain and you know their hand it’s right to strip essential combo pieces from their hand.
Looking at recent storm lists on mtgtop8 it seems like most but not all are on 2 Grape Shot in the 75, I imagine the most common scenario would be to bring one in and leave the other in the board against Stone Brain. In that scenario I think it’s a stronger argument for naming Wish (or Ral) since they had it in hand and then you can use Karn for a second Stone Brain the next turn to get the actual Grape Shot
