You should steam all the foam before you start the install. Use the steam after installed on the out side while rubbing it down toward the open end. Also taking thin plastic film and covering the foam before installing the covers help to slip the cover over much easier. I am a katzkin authorized installer. The 350z is one of the most difficult installs. I can do a full sized f150 crew in less time than doing one of these
it definitely was a learning experience. the car is long gone but at least i have the concepts down in case i ever had to do it all over again for a different car.

Who manufactures those covers?
Hey do you have to stitch these back down? Or is it straps? Should I just take to a reupholster shop?
You have to use hog rings and pliers under the leather.
