@@rs180216 i know this is late but the reason you saw those slow pitches was because they were position players . Typically when a team is down by a lot they will rest their real pitchers and have position players step up since the game is practically over

Rockies somehow managed to outperform them with the 25-1 differential. Can't wait for the 30-1 game on July 26, the 35-1 game on August 27, the 40-1 game on September 28, the 45-1 game on October 29, the 50-1 game on Novermber 30, and the 55-1 game on December 31.

The guy could probably pitch faster if he wanted to, but he's not a real pitcher so even if he tried hard, it would actually just be easier for these pro hitters to hit because they're used to hitting fast pitches. It was a position player pitching at that point, so his velocity is much lower than someone whose only job is to pitch. 🙂
