    Neil was super smart for never charging Tony until he actually had to work in the court room. That was his investment. Gaining a mobsters trust by not being a typical lawyer who charges for everything. He knew who he was dealing with and kept himself safe with that play.

      It really wasn’t respect. He was extremely insecure around people like the lawyer and the psychiatrist. They had a lot of power over him. Skills and abilities and confidence that could be backed up. Tony knew or believed he didn’t have anything near what they had. That’s why he tried to have sex with the psychiatrist. It was the only way he thought he could try to have some power over her. A lot of his relationships are about maintaining dominance. When she set strong boundaries, all he could do is step back and behave

    That ketchup bottle was an analogy for Tony’s life and career. He had been close to going to jail or getting killed many times but had always been able to squeeze out a few more drops one way or another. He dodged a murder charge, assassinations and a million other things through the years but this was the end of the line, there were no more drops to squeeze out and he would finally have to face the music he. He always knew he was living on borrowed time and now the clock was out of time.
