    Holy cow. This is quite possibly some of the most majestic and well shot video I’ve ever seen of a hunt. You and your camera man, and your videographer should be commended by all for your amazing work here. It’s such a blessing to watch a man living his best life. Kudos to you, Sir. Just amazing. I’d give anything to be out there on that hunt.
    AND WHAT A BULL!!!!! Holy cow! How many pounds of meat do you get out of an animal like that?

    Hey guys, im just getting into the hunting sport. I am by no means a tree hugger or anything like that. This seemed a bit cruel just to kill the elk for its horns. I must be making assumptions here. do you guys also eat the elk, and consume the remaining bits of the animal? I want to get into this sport but im at a conflict with myself. Right when the bow is pulled back and you can see the elk, i wouldnt be able to get myself to do it... but i want to... do any of you guys also go through this? I would be able to justify it, if i can consume the entire thing...

    • @danpickar5442
      @danpickar5442 3 года назад

      Trophy hunting is not just about horns. All the meat was taken. In addition there are laws that require bringing the meat from the field. I grew up on wild game meat and have never bought beef from the store. I am a trophy hunter because it is such a challenge but there are many more trophy's than just the antlers on each hunt. Good luck on your hunting journey.
