Thank you for reacting to the best band of the last 20 years. And no... im not biased 😅. But for real you havent even scratched the surface with this song. They have many albums with zero bad songs. Please start with act 1 and work your way up. They are the best ❤ Edit; immediate subscriber
I love when we discover a band like this. I had no idea they even existed until this was suggested. We will definitely be digging in deeper. This is what I love most about having this reaction channel. Thanks for the sub! We appreciate the support and welcome and suggestions you might have
Saw this video and the Haken reaction on my feed. My two favorite bands (subbed). The Acts are a massive investment, but I have never heard of anyone that took the time to dig into them regret it.
@@secondhandreactions It's a 5 album concept story about a boy/man's life starting at the turn of the 1800s. Acts 4 and 5 is beautifully orchestrated and is full of musical and lyrical motifs and reprisals.
@@secondhandreactions haha! Well, neighbor or not - you're both bringin great reactions. It's fun seeing how you both react to the music in different manners ^^
His voice and the music pulled me in and under. I haven't even connected with the lyric yet but I'm tipping that might take it to another level. Cheers mate. I love hearing quality new music. New as in new to me ,)
Just subbed... would love to see more dear hunter. The live act 1 performance released in 2022ish is better than the album and would make a great album reaction
Love this. I’m all about unlocking more of their music and adding it to my life. Absolutely loving everything I e heard so far from the Dear Hunter. More reactions to them coming
Late to the gig today but what a very cool sound these guys have. Felt like I had a toke of opium with Matt Bellamy and Roger Waters was grinning at me from across the room. Need to listen to some more from these guys. Cheers John. Clay and Sue that was really cool
I liked this one a lot. It’s since been added to regular rotation in my life. I love that our little channel is spreading good music like this to everyone ✌️
@@secondhandreactions only took 30 seconds or so and I was in. I mentioned in a reply to John that I've not yet taken in the lyric. I love disolving myself into musical melancholy at least once a week. Ice bath for the psychė. Stops me whinging to myself over little things. Potential new track for that list.
@@secondhandreactions Yeah that might trip the switch. Not in a bad way. Roger Waters knows me too well hence me referencing him grinning. We have history
They're a really special group. Thanks for checking them out. 🤙
Loved this one. Definitely will be back for more. Thanks for watching with us!
Gotta check out The Love by this group!

The most underappreciated band of all time.

Haken was a fantastic listen
Wifey, is awesome! haha, love the immediate interest in getting up and dancing when realizing the vibe!
And now on my back feet, I stil love the dance - but damn! Hubby caught the meaning immediately! Hah! great :D
@@slimefudge That’s neighbor Sue. We call her that because she’s my neighbor. lol. Glad you liked the reaction!

I agree the music alone grabbed me
@@neighborsue I have a feeling the lyric will match the grab ;)

Pretty sure this record was written during his divorce, while living in LA. Regardless, love the reaction by both.
That was my guess. This is a break up song.

Opium with Matt Bellamy and his chaos pad guitar would be interesting haha
