Good info. I just got mine this past week. The access panel on it is a nightmare to get off. Screws not straight in the recessed holes. Mine was pretty much impossible to remove uggh. I will have to alter that removable panel.
We have the identical model to this called a Dream Maker Fantasy spa, built in 2007. Absolutely love ours. Only issue is the shell construction with eventually develop stress fractures in the polyethylene shell by the seat, which was easily repaired with high quality epoxy compound. The jets have started to leak and now I have to dig out the blown in insulation to get to the jets to replace the O rings and other stuff. So... if you don't have mice in your area,, theere's no reason why this tub can't last beyond 15 years.
Hi, I have been offered a hot tub just like this one. Now I am figuring out how to transport it to my place. If I may ask, how many people do I need to help with hauling it up onto a track or U-Haul van? In the meantime, there’s only two of us. Is it too heavy for two of us?
How is it working out for you? How much did you end up spending on it? I would LOVE to buy this but the reviews on this is very limited and I cant find one for less than 3k.
@@amandachan696 I bought mine for less than 2K. But when the guy came to deliver the hot tub. It was damaged in the process. My money was refunded and I had to buy another hot tub somewhere else. There's a lot of hot tubs on the market... You just have to do your research very well and make sure it doesn't have any leaks and that has good maintenance that was done to it!
I’m considering this hot tub for a remote piece of property that’s off grid. I would have to run it on a generator. My question is does the filter run 24/7? That’s the one thing I’m trying to workout
No it cycles, and it depends on outside temp, mine only runs 3 hours during summer temperatures winter is going to be more like 12 plus hours, takes about 15 hours to heat up from 86 f cold water from the tap.
Awesome man thanks for getting back to me quick. Do you know if it can be converted to 240v? I have seen some similar that can be, was not sure about this brand.
@@acuraintegrar5 The AR300 Premium can be used on 240. (It comes shipped as a 110 unit).Cost is lsightly more, but it comes with an ozonator. It was easy to switch to 240.
I’m in nj, do you keep it outside all year and do a freeze protection/winter treatment for winter season or do you move it into a garage or something? Can it be left outside all year if able to be winterized?
Hi! Thanks for this review. I'm looking to purchase this but trying to make sure it will fit in a tight space. Do you happen to know exact measurements? I know on Wayfair it lists 31" H x 80" L x 68" W but since it's a triangle, I'm trying to confirm that both shorter sides of the triangle are indeed 68.". Thoughts?
Very useful review. I'm considering purchasing this from Wayfair. Does the hot tub maintain the104 temp while you're in it or does the temperature reduce due to the cover being off? How loud is the pump?
@@retrogamerchris1413 so far so good, i did hardwire the pump directly and put it on my own digital timer so i can cycle it when i want instead of being off of a thermostat control that it comes with
Thanks for sharing! How do you drain it with a hose? Do you think we could put it in a sunroom or are there leaking issues? Also, how did you get it so cheap? I see them for sale for 3000 and that's more than half the price you paid!
I use a shop vac hose hose to drain, its drains faster, also takes 22mins to fill with a garden hose, i think i got a end of the world sale when covid hit! Lol
I'll reply ....yes....one is a lounge seat and the other is a "straighter" sitting up style. I've had the AR300 premium version since Feb of 2024 (worth it in my opinion), and it's been great. I wired it for 240 as I live in a cold climate. I put mine inside a screened in porch area.
I live in North Carolina, if the cover is on temp will rise no matter how cold it gets outside here. It doesn’t get sub zero but maybe a few days here a year. I would be curious in your situation myself, maybe an additional in line heater or heater band to help the offset.
It gets in the 30s in the winter at my house, i think it would work but wouldn’t sustain when the cover is off for longer than 1.5-2 hours, your gonna see some temperature drop.

I’ve been researching the 4 person version and this was helpful. thanks so much for sharing.
Do u have a video showing using the control panel …on off eco mode temp setting things like that
Wow thank you that was an awesome thorough helpful review. I'm looking forward to getting mine.
How do you remove the access panel? My instructions are missing that figure. Would love to see how to set it up.
Will this fit thru a standard exterior doorway 36 wide 80 height? I want mine to be inside my sunroom
Yep I put one in today 🎉
Thanks so much man. I got the same hot tub and will be delivered next week! Looking forward to it!

Do jets actually pump water and not just air?
Yes water and air
Can u use an extension cord
I have the 2018 manufactured AR-300 hot tub but I can’t easily get the filter nut off to clean the filter. Do you have any tips on this?
Push down on the filter, i try not to over tighten or cross thread, you can spray liquid silicone on the threads out of a aerosol can.
I've got my eye on this haha thanks for the video!
No problem

how cold was it outside when you tested it? I'm wondering if it will work in 15 degree weather outside
30 degrees f
Don't do that. You're going to get sick.
What color is the cover?

It will get to 104 maintain with cover and slowly taper down as the cover is off. Pump is quiet you can barely hear it inside the house
@@JasonShore Thanks. Did you buy the optional stairs? If not, is it easy to get in and out of without the stairs?
I did not, it’s easy, my girl is 5.4 & has no issues
How do you winterize it?
I leave it running year round, its 110v so not expensive to run
Great video, what color is this? Graystone or keystone?
Keystone!

You’re welcome sir, & I believe so!
How are the jets? I was concerned as some seem to have very few jets.
The 2 person spa had adequate jets to give a nice massage, but i did notice that on the 4 seaters, seem to be less therapeutic.
