I got so into the clip that i forgot this wasn’t the short film and it surprised me
love the vid but why is the camera crash-zooming in every 5 seconds
Haha was trying something out… clearly it didn’t land lol! Thanks for the feedback
First time your channel has been recommended to me. I appreciate little videos that explain stuff we've all observed. I'm not a filmmaker but def look forward to more movie content. You've got me interested 🙏
Ya! Thanks for tuning in! More to come❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much...and Merry Christmas 2023
This is a great breakdown of the 180 rule, and why shooting over the shoulder is so effective 🤙🏼
Thank you! It’s such a useful practice

Love this and so true. Love your videos.
Thank you so much!! Happy holidays
Your welcome and Happy Holidays to you as well.
Love seeing it set out like you did with the example shots, that couch in the foreground of the window shot makes a massive difference, but I would have never thought of it either in working out why a shot worked, or in planning my own shoot. Love the video mate!
Yes! Thank you so much! I think so too! I actually didn’t think it was going to be so noticeable.
Thanks, so helpful!
Amazing stuff as always thanks Zach!
Thank you so much
Nice work! Thanks for sharing.
Anytime! Hope it was helpful
Awesome video Zach, keep ‘em comin’!!:)). Merry Future Christmas 🎄
Merry future Christmas to you
Too!!
I believe it was Ron Howard in his master class who said if you shoot a 2 shot and 2 close ups or OTS you can make a movie that works. 😎
Interesting points, but the constant zooming in and out is disturbing
I wanted to try it out (saw it on another channel and liked the idea haha) thanks for your feedback
Good vid, but I find the background music having lyrics is distracting me from what you are saying.
Thanks for the feedback! This always helps make way better videos in the future 🤟
Question, when in motion, now should one go about recording if they hold their camera while recording? (Rather than having a device for it like some do.)
Klute!
Anyways appreciate your insight, very well done here. Love the quality!
Do you have links to some of these short films you made?
