The best thing about lyney is the fact you can use xiangling bennet and Lynette with him very well which are all free units in 4.0
Lynette has a nice design but she's just sadly extremely underwhelming. That said she's good enough for overworld so she's a good unit for new players.
@@escapetherace1943 I mean she still has her place, you can only have 1 Kazuha and she's good enough to slot into a second team where grouping may not be needed but you still want the shred.

Im honestly surprised how strong he is. He didn't really seam that exciting to me but in the test run he was doing some crazy numbers, i think i got about an 80-90k skill and a bunch of 25k charge attacks. Its weird to see a test run be that well built.

Why nobody talks about his C3 like he’s the only character that has C3 increase his Normal and Charge Atl level instead of Skill Level ❤❤?
He won't be the only one lmao, it's a new "feature" and for future characters they will also get more lvls on normals atk
Freminet also has a C3 or C5 with normal attacks
yeah it seems like fontaine characters seem to be the only who increase normal attack for c3, *this won't be big spoilers/leak* but wriothesley and neuvillette will also have their normal attack +3 for c3

@@TheDkmariolink It's more likely that Content creators are given a Beta account (based on their actual one) to try the characters and make a video about them.
I don't see why would you criticise someone just for wanting to try out a new character as soon as possible, a lot of people get hyped by new content and it's not like trying to understand a units kit leads to early burnout (maybe 100% exploration on Day1, but definitely not character testing)
@@akirayuki6275 your'e missing the point. its just that i prefer the old way he handled his raising videos. for example where he spent like 20 minutes to trying to understand how eula's kit actually works - which for me is far more interesting and entertaining and made me enjoy this journey exploring a characters kit together with moga's great personality more than listening to a script. if i want to watch a guide i will most likely go somewhere else. thats what made this channel special for me

I think the best rotation in order to get the 5 passive stacks while benny boy's burst is still active is to charge attack twice in the start of each rotation then dihya E->kazuha E+burst->bennet E+Burst->another 2 charge attacks then burst and spam E to get that massive skill dmg

@cetadel6597 lyney encourages mono pyro, since he needs to charge attack, the knockback resist from dehya is quite useful.
Dehya's resistance buff only last for 9s so you can't just put her E from the beginning of the rotation. You have to put her E after Kazuha Bennet then swap to Lyney. Btw, Dehya's best weapon is Sacrificial Claymore just because her E's cd is abysmal for normal rotation.
pls just rather use xingaling, dehya just making ur life harder
@@brofourtwenty2143 Dehya is for resistance to interruption and survivability, you'll need shields if you don't use her. Xiangling just adds more damage so I don't think you can use kazuha, you'd prob switch him for zhongli
the fact he’s doing that much dmg at level 70 too is insane
I love Lyney. Immediately pulled for him after trying him out,and he was already extremely good at level 40 with unraised talents. Can't wait to get him even higher after some farming! Also he is very f2p friendly, considering that Him + Lynette + Benny + Xiangling is like one of his best teams (due to the lack of 5 star pyro supports), and those are two free characters and one 4 star who's on the current banner, so very easily attainable for new players. My only headache with Xiangling is, that you have to get close enough for her ult to hit any enemies, and I find it's pretty hard to hit enemies with a charged bow attack if they're too close. I think thoma might me a good character for Lyney as well, but I'm still a little puzzled on how to build that man correctly haha
Even better is that Benny was given for free before so older players got him for free too (or a con for free if they had him already), additionally, he’ll be given away in an event soon too (with a crown) :))
This is one of the banners where i'm like "yes i need him" but i also need my primos for the Knave.
Arlechino is gonna take a long time.
Maybe until Archon Story finished so if you save now you will have 60k primos
@@shi-chan5779 Perhaps. thing is, that the Hydro archon is another character i have my eyes on as well. So i believe it is better to save for these two.
His burst gives 1 stack so you just charge attack 4 times, use burst and immediately end and then skill.
Something to keep in mind lyneys charged attack cat snapshots
Just wanted to say his cat thing he summons with the charged shot snapshots, so even if Bennett Q ends if one of those is up on the field it should be able to still deal around 60k
Finally, we get to have a decent team for Dehya. Although, I'm still looking to get Yelan on this current banner, but I would certainly pull for Lyney on his rerun to pair with Dehya.
Lyney's set would also be great on hu tao, considering her playstyle and the fact that she sacrifices her hp for pyro damage.
Not really. Hu Tao only loses her HP once (with skill cast), and heals once as well (with her burst). Functionally, you're only having 1 stack of the 4pc effect at a time, which is not good compared to the 4pc Crimson Witch/Shimenawa.
Unless you're a masochist who plays Hu Tao without a shielder to maintain HP fluctuation, she's not going to benefit from the set more than characters like Lyney who drain chunks of HP quickly. I often have Lyney at around 10k-14k HP and you can easily die within 1-2 hits since he's a glass cannon

Honestly the main reason I was excited for him! Been playing Lyney Bennett Dehya Lynette and loving it and other than Bennett it uses no contested units so second team is free :D

The numbers you are getting is amazing. My LV90 Xiao only does 3k damage on a crit charged attack.
Fun fact the grim malkin cat thing snapshots so if you charge att inside Benny burst after it ends and you continue to charge att it still counts as if you're inside benny burst untill you swap off Lenny and I mean clearly Lyney and Benny are best buddies

The fastest burst of damage you can do with lyney is 1 charged followed by burst cancel it then skill
12:05 yes you need to Ult then immediately double E to cancel his ult and use his skill to trigger the cat bomb

I was surprised. Underleveled and not even built up, my Honey did surprisingly well. Took way too much damage, but as long as I keep moving and am not facing an agile enemy, he does pretty good.
The battle between considering C1 for him, or go for Nuevillette. Cause that C1 with two hats on the field sounds crazy, esp considering the damage they can do.
I'm just pulling to see if I get c1, and if I don't at least I've built pity for Neuvillette 😅

His c1 is not as good as it sounds. Its not worth it. Save for neuvillette, he's looking to be very strong.

I used Diluc mono pyro for a while in abyss, it was pretty good, Benny/XL/Kazuha/Diluc. Could be a great replacement for Diluc
tbh i didnt think id pull for him due to me not caught up but i wanted lynette and hes pretty fun and his weapon well the whole weapon banner itself is pretty usefull

My expectations so low i really thought it was real😭
I love him so much but the way I got him was so funny. So, for context I'm F2P and this was at 1 am I did 3 ten pulls and got Barbara twice in the first one Bennet in the second and then Barbara again then I did one more ten pull and got Lyney and Barbara again. Then I had some left over pulls because I hadn't pulled on the previous two banners, and I thought why not just do maybe a few single pulls on the weapons banner. I did four pulls and I got his weapon. Me and the person next to me were freaking out for like five minutes.

Quick question: Is melt lyney good? I dont have zhongli or kazuha but i have a pretty good layla and i heard we are getting a free bennet. I use lyney because i pulled him at 20 pity and aside from kokomi hes my only five star. Is layla a good support for him?
yeah i think that melt is good for him
i would say shes fine since shes a solid shielder. when you get him leveled up to his last passive, just make sure shes the only non pyro character in the team. the free benny from the event and the xiangling you can get from early abyss should be able to fill those pyro needs easy! a lot of bow characters are very squishy/vulnerable so having a nice shield will help a lot!

Don't use melt, use sucrose instead of kazuha. His pyro scaling from his passive outscales melt.

Looking at the new set, the one lyney is on, does anyone think it will be better for hu tao then crimson? I have a amazing crimson set (64/267) but I cant seem to get a pyro goblet, none, not for half a year ;-;
No hu toa only changes her hp 1 time and since most people use zhongli with her it isn't practical (since you won't take more dmg) but leaks are suggesting that a character will come that damages your own team in exchange for buffs but im not sure if that's true

on replacing dehya with zhongli: he will stop receiving damage from the enmies which is gonna lower the bonuses he gets from losing hp with the artifact set and everything else
