FWIW, all-wheel steering where the front and back are opposed is for low speeds so you can turn tightly, while synchronous steering is for high speeds where you want to drift left and right without changing your orientation much. (In a real-world example, it would be used for changing lanes at highway speed.)
I played with the STA 89 and it said destructible and it wasnt. But i thought it was an ok build but i didnt really enjoy the ability where you cant really drive over things kinda easy. I made a micro vehicle no mods and i put them on the workshop but..... you probably dont want to check them out cause nobody does,
the volvo truck just has to be one of the most detailed things on the workshop!

5:10 I'm pretty sure it's called crab steering. Can be useful when needing to get around obstacles without changing directions.
Frank Yanish also used in military vehicles to get around in areas with rocks and stuff
