Really nice job Tom, beautiful theme! Love the dreamy pendulums in the background. And the fact that your melody is actually an A minor tune gives the whole a nice bittersweet touch. btw, I had never thought of punching my own music box tunes, that's a great idea :)
Very educational, very motivating, very inspirational. I Would like to know how you decide upon the number of musicians in the orchestra sections. With love from India
Thank you! Usually, this is provided by the party you work with (the orchestra in Macedonia had a set number of strings). If you want a more intimate sound, you could always ask for fewer players
I would benefit from you playing how you progressed through your iterations so there is an opportunity for me to follow how/why you made the changes you explain, let my ear, rather than my brain, appreciate your process.
But…. I loved the dramatic “feel” transitioning from the A major to A minor… even if it were a short film… 😉 Thanks for sharing your process. Do you work with Cubase only?

Thanks a lot! :). And I don't do it all the time, but it gives a nice piece of memorabilia of a project :)
What a thrill. Nice work and orchestration.
Thanks a lot!

Thank you! For composition, in only work in Cubase, yes :)
