Thank you for all of Nottingham U's great videos...I have recently discovered 60 Symbols and that too is a very intriguing channel. KC Le Jeune I had some email correspondense with his a few years ago about the human popn problem. I have Met Poliakoff twice when I was studying chemistry in Nottingham on a PHD. He seemed ok in person. But he is very selfcentered and rude and selfopiniatred. I can send it to you if you like. He rubbished all Darwin solutions and refused to discuss the problem., just laying the law to me. Scienctists are meant to be open minded, not selfopinated. he has never given me 1 single piece of evidence to support his ideas. I think he is breaking the Royal Society motto Nullius in Verba "take no ones work for it, check for yourself.. he just expects me to obey him and to worship him. But I will not.

Of course, Id have a few Chemistry classes, even as electives. The cruelty of life vexes me. Im a disabled Art Professor, with all the time in the world to go to school, though Id miss many days due to my condition, but Im sure if I even tried to take one class, SS would be calling to ask if i am still disabled...guh...thank Goodness for Nottingham!

I was 9 years old when I found my father's store of KMnO4 , he was a DVM, and discovered the pretty purple trail it radiates when the crystals are dropped in water. Every container of stagnant water in the house was colored purple. I'm sure I prevented some people from catching malaria since I killed every mosquito larvae for a 1-kilometer radius. Then I found the container of hydrogen peroxide, looks like water right? Well, the reaction was more energetic if the crystals were dropped in the hydrogen peroxide. My parent's bathroom needed a fresh coat of paint anyway, I thought after the bottle exploded. It made the bathroom look like Jackson Pollack's -Lavender Mist, only more colorful.
Thank you, Sir-Prof. P and crew, I've enjoyed all of your Periodic Videos

@Trollingwithmyhomies Whoa, easy, Tex. I'm just a disabled Professor Emeritus of Art, who rarely even lectures now, but my best friend is the Chair of the Graduate Program of Astrophysics. He and I often talk about how The Arts and Sciences overlap each other in many ways. Simple analogy: When a Physicist nails a great equation, he speaks of its elegance and beauty, as would an Artist. An Artist, if like me, makes his own Paint, Varnishes and Mediums as precisely as would a chemist. I vote like!
