The Garmin i an much older Technology than the Raymarine. With his "Homebutton" you scroll in seconds thru every possible Setting and you buy for a few dollars more the new Plattform what is very close to Androidssystem. I love the Raymarine much much better! Have mine sind christmas 2013 and use salt and ocean and everglades no problems at all.

Есть ехомап 50дв, и надо его запитать от аккумулятора, подскажите получится ли и если да то от какого лучше.
So what was the final conclusion with the comparison? It looks like the Dragonfly was easier to view in direct sunlight, is that correct? How did the chart plotters compare when using them for navigation?
***** Thanks John! Im glad I went with the Garmin 50DV as well. I agree it is a much better unit, and I got a great deal on it at west marine a few weeks ago. The 50DV is discontinued now which was the reason for the great deal. Thanks for the reply

Dragonfly in the sun better. For better navigation Garmin
