Few musicians have the ability to translate to other musicians in a simple way what is involved construction wise. The bassline in the beginning of the video... only Andy could come up with that !!
Hey Andy. I'm so surprised that Warwick has done this to an "affordable instrument". There's only thing to say. "You own a Warwick and they make quality". Congrats on them for doing better and making an instrument with Warwick "creature comforts". I'm a proud owner of a Streamer. When I take it out, it commands the stage. And I don't even have to try. I just let the bass do the talking and everybody is listening. I can only imagine that's how you feel Andy. Greetings to all from Minnesota and I wish you all many happy years of playing your Warwick. I'm gigging mine this weekend. Hopefully you have one of more. If not, what's taking you so long? Keep up the good work Warwick. ❤🎸❤
Love the Rockbass series! I still have my 2011 RB Corvette that I was able to afford back when I started college and dreamed about owning a full on warwick. Now that I actually have a pro series thumb I still go back to my RB as my main bass
Hi! That greatly depends on a couple of factors. We recommend, switching the 9V-battery on any newly purchased active instrument, to make sure it hasn't sat in a shop for longer or has frequently been played there and already doesn't run on full capacity anymore. If you have fresh ones installed, it depends on how often and for how long your playing sessions are on average. If you only play every other day or even less frequent, one battery can last you even years in some cases. If you play very frequently, also in longer sessions, a few months to even a few weeks are a more realistic metric. It is recommended to always have one or two spare 9-V batteries in your bag or case. We also recommend to always unplug the instrument cable from the bass when you're not playing, because leaving it in can drain the battery. Hope this was helpful.

How often do you have to change the battery on this active set up? I've been passive, but like these medium scales.

@@FramusWarwickOfficial thank you, that helps.
Do the short and medium scale models have the same body with diff neck lengths or is the body on the short scale smaller?
How do they sound with a pick?
Are these available in 5 string?
When can you expect this in stock on Thomann or gear4music? Also WHEN ROCKBASS THUMB?
Is the short or medium-scale Corvette available in a 5-string model?
