You could always grab a second hood for daily driving, save that one for shows, or try and make a plexiglass undercover that would obviously be see through but stop the rain?? Idk just an idea lol
Here are some ideas for the rain problem: 1. Make a cover for the vents (It would basically look like a budge instead of a hood vent with it on) 2. Plug or individual covers for each vent But both would be tedious to do and to remove & add when the weather changes. Also happy belated birthday.
Honestly the cover should go on the inside of the hood, not the outside... Vents blocked by a plate underneath will look much better than a big bulge on the hood.
@@imnota some explanation why I said the two ideas/my thought process: if you just add the cover inside the hood the indents would still catch water even tho admittedly it would look 100x better and idea #2 was to plug the vent holes and nothing else which would still keep the look while blocking the holes (basically looks like a non-functioning vented hood)
Something for the rain that would be cool but probably not realistic would be like, what if there were more vents underneath the existing ones in the engine bay that can move and open and close manually from the inside of the hood. So when it rains you can close them, and then when it’s not you can open them. You’d just need a hinge and some kind of seal on the edges. But I also don’t know how the clearance is for the engine. Like I said, it’s an out there idea but it seems cool
It looks awesome. So kool to take the OEM hood and make it custom. An idea for blocking out the rain just incase is you could probably engineer a block out plate that you can bracket up under the hood that's able to be taken on and off. But if not it's still kool as a sunny day vehicle.
Just get a cone air filter box on eBay. They typically come with extra flex tubing so you can point the inlet away from the vent and the box/tube keeps the filter dry. Cheap and effective

You can use a high heat plexiglass or something to close those vents so that you can still see everything it's just waterproof.
Finally. Been waiting forever for at new vid. Happy birthday bro
Cars look tight man keep it up 🔥
Wow you guys did an amazing job on that vent. Looks great!
For the hood problem make a plastic panel with magnets and have it so it's easily removable by adding the other magnets to the hood

You gotta rig up something like a house vent where you can move a slider and close off the hood vent for the rain 😂😂

You’ve got better music choice for your vids than Robbie, don’t tell him I said that 😂
don't drive in the rain, or make a cover for it for driving in the rain or something, or you can get a second hood and get quick release hood latches
No new content man?
Question: have you deleted the emissions on your engine or is there a law in Canada prohibiting that?
