- ChatGPT Plus is faster than the free version of ChatGPT, but not worth it $20 per month.

very good
I think the main reason is the 24/7 availability. I don't want to keep trying to get into the system over and over again.
I rarely had problems logging into ChatGPT. Maybe I was just lucky.
It all depends what your time is worth. Most consultants or developers make way more than $60 per hour. So that’s one dollar per minute so if chat GPT paid saves you only 20 minutes per month it will be worth it correct? I remember 25 years ago I started paying someone to mow my lawn even though it cost $30, but it would’ve taken me one hour so I would lose money mowing my lawn. It’s all relative if you times not worth a dollar an hour then yes your times better spent leveling up your skills or finding customers or something. But if you’re using it every day, most of the day, I would think the savings would be tremendous.
Yeah, maybe if you use it every day most of the day. I don't use it that much and when I need it I don't mind multitasking while I wait until the code is generated. I pay $179/month for a subscription that I can't get for free. ChatGPT, on the other hand, I can get for free and it's even on Bing now.
I still think the price isn't reasonable. It doesn't matter whether I can afford it or not. Nice points though.
@@ThePyCoach yeah 5 a month would be more reasonable
Personally I found I just use 2 different emails and back and forth when those time come to limitation
I with Neon that maybe $5 a month would be better until it has some real value for the extra money as of now the free version and paid are 99% the same...and the promised early access stuff is so vague
Alternatively you can pay for their API, make your own UI, and pay almost nothing. Although I am not sure if there are maybe some drawbacks or something.
Yeah or pay per 1k token. That option is available in Playground I think
@@ThePyCoach yeah, that’s also an option. I am still using the $18 of free credit.
But if it saves you a minute on average and you do more than 60 prompts thats an hour saved, sure if you do not prompt that much its not worth it
I'm guessing your opinion has changed now with GPT-4 available with Plus right?
It'll change with plugins. GPT-4 isn't fully available on Plus. I think there's a limit per day, but even without the limit it's not a big deal at least for me. Plugins on the other side is game changing. Looking forward to it.
@@ThePyCoach What about the 25k tokens input possibility of GPT-4 compared to 3k in GPT-3? Also yes there is a dynamic limit based on how much demand there is at any given moment. I agree plugins are a lot more exciting though
What about gpt4
I would pay plus if they make plus users bypass too many attempts in one hour.else the speed will make you use the quota faster and have less ChatGPT usage.
I'm from Australia and I'm currently trying to get it but it isn't working
Plus has ChatGPT-4.
I will buy plus when it real-time.hehe
If $20 a month is something you have to even think twice about, then that tells me you're living paycheck to paycheck. Probably in parent's basement.
$20?? LOL.
is chatgpt your son or why are you so strict about its perfomance
because I pay $20 per month. and why are you so lenient? is chatgpt your girlfriend?
