As a kid you think Erik is right. When you grow up, you realise how hard it is to be Charles. Knowing that in the end, nobody's gonna stand with you. And if he hadn't convinced Erik, mutants would have died way sooner
@@luisamarie6928 no, he will be recast and everyone from Fox X-Men except Deadpool once they introduce mutants to MCU, good luck finding a better professor than James and Stewart! And Wolverine, man MCU should just let go or only use the mutant characters fox didn't use...
It's probably a silly hope but with every thing happening in the MCU with Wandavision we can maybe hope to have the introduction of the Multiverse with them?

I think deep down Erik always admired Charles for his unwavering strength and hope in the face of such hatred and adversity. And I think that admiration turned to resentment because he himself could never find that peace, and instead feels only anger. Great parallels in the editing.
I don't think so it's deep down, Erik made it evident various times, when in X3 Pyro said something about Charles, Erik said something like watch ur mouth son Charles Xavier did more for mutants than we can ever imagine
Charles and Erik are such an amazing duo...starting out as friends but ending up fighting each other beacuse of their beliefs...but yet they never forget what they once were and respect each other
I get goosebumps every time I watch the scene of old Charles advising the young one...it has such amazing and inspiring dialogue, that has a true impact on you
No matter how courteous and nice inspirational different comments had been posted, only a true mutant would understand how really mind blowing it is, the voices inside the head of someone like charles xavier and jean Grey.
I came back and watched this again... still can't get over how well-made this is, considering you've probably lost interest in the fandom :'( But this is just breathtaking and so smooth and so true to the character. Teach me your ways
