I remember when i first rode this ride. I was completely shocked and unexpectedly pleased with this ride. Cause i didn't think this ride would be that intense. Before it launched a few seconds after the audio saying "Prepare to be terrorized" I was thinking in my head "Then terrorize me then". A few seconds later my soul was snatched out of my body and put right back in 3 times. I know a lot of the other commenters on here didn't care much for it when you compare it to the other rides in the parks but this kicked all ass to me. I was not ready for Dr Doom like i thought i was.
I went on this and my soul came out my body 💀

That was me a couple days ago, went on Christmas Eve and my dad was like “we’re going on it now, NO BUTS” and this was like 8:20PM before we left before we went on Spider-Man to end the day(the third time we hop on the ride that day)

Hilarious video. Was too nervous to take it on myself just like this. But you know what would be a terrific improvement? If a dude came out like this as Dr Doom all the time to assist with strapping you in. I'd certainly brave it for such an experience with the big man himself! lol

After you ride the Hulk, Dr.Doom is the only thing that's scary. That and Rip Ride Rocket.
I love that ride! I never miss it every time I go. The fast pass is absolutely essential! Without pass it is a complete waste of time
not really,.... the wait usually isn't that bad. Not normally over 15 minutes.
@@MajesticWaffle obviously you have not been there in a while. 90 to 120 minutes! Yikes! Stay in the universal studios hotel and take advantage of the fast pass! Worth every penny
@@DrGreg007 was just there 4 days ago for my birthday. Hulk was 65 minutes and Spiderman was 55, Doctor Doom was 10. But I agree the hotels are a steal nonetheless.

A good tip for new riders: there’s not an accurate way to time for the launch after Doom says, “Prepare to be terrorized.” That’s not to say that there’s no way to accurately prepare for it. The best way to get yourself ready for the first launch is to wait for the smoke that appears near the top of the ride vehicle. When you see that smoke, hold on tightly, because the launch is usually only a couple of seconds after that.

I do not have a fear of heights... and I have loved this ride since I was 18. I do remember when I first went to Islands of Adventure in 2000, it was closed for the day we spent there.
1:20 I wouldn’t feel like that if Dr. doom isn’t here like: I don’t want to go on this ride but I heart is beating so fast I love this ride because I want to go on it again
Even though it looks scary it's actually not that bad,falcons fury at Busch gardens is scarier.

Last time I was at universal Orlando I was 2 I was just happy to see spongebob and Patrick and that’s how I say I would ride a ride again just sit in the testing set out side and keep the camera like you are on the ride I would not rid 5 ride there and universal Orlando when I get older I get older I want to be you next ride architect and I hav so many good ideas

I went on july but coudnt ride it due to the long line and was getting late till the bus arrive to the hotel saddly.
honestly this one wasn’t even that bad for me and I was surprised cause I have a very queasy stomach
