1 year Update on my Wambugu Apples

  • My wambugu apples are 12 months old since i transplanted them and 14 months old since i bought the seedlings and planted them.

    Sir you never need to defoliate your branches! Leave one to grow upward for height and pull the rest horizontal.Upward growing branches keep growing and horizontal branches develop spurs and bloom the next year and rest the next year and bloom the next year! They need all of their leaves for growth!I dont know why this was not explained at Wangbugu. Many farmers pull all of the fruit off of the tree for the first two years

    Watching from Sokoto...
    Maybe it hasn't reached the flowering season to start fruiting. My tree is just 7 months old and Masha'Allah is doing well.

    Congratulations on you your journey. You will surely eat from your apples. Stop giving then nitrogen related manures Iike rabbit urine for the main time and defoliate.

    Please remove all the old leaves and in no time, ull see it flowering
