I can't believe how well you're doing on slimming world, you have been my inspiration since you lost the weight the first time around. If you were with him, you would have to be with someone who could be so disloyal and someone who would destroy their family without a second thought. This way, even though it's so hard now, you can focus on what is best for you and, as you say most importantly, Athena. You can build your life back up until it is once again full of things that make you happy - whatever they might be. And my god you are strong to just carry on going like this! So sorry to hear you are going through such a difficult time and well done for staying determined with slimming world. I will never understand how some men can go off on their wives, it really sickens me. Please don't take it as it's something wrong with you, because you are such a caring, warm, glowing, strong woman who also happens to be an amazing mummy to Athena. You will have good and bad days but surround yourself with your family and good friends and with time you will begin to feel better. It's definitely a blessing in disguise and one day in years to come you will find a lovely kind man who would never even dream of hurting you in such a heartbreaking way. Ed is a fool to lose you, but he's not the first and won't be the last man to shit on his pregnant/just given birth wife. Your in for a rough few months once the shock wears off and things settle, but your a hard working determined strong woman. If you were with him, you would have to be with someone who could be so disloyal and someone who would destroy their family without a second thought. This way, even though it's so hard now, you can focus on what is best for you and, as you say most importantly, Athena. You can build your life back up until it is once again full of things that make you happy - whatever they might be. And my god you are strong to just carry on going like this! Your little girl is going to be so proud of you when she understands :) Keep up what you are doing, and I hope it isn't too long before you start getting closer to the light at the end of the tunnel x
