    I am a passed out mechanical engineer working in L&T and i am preparing for gate CSE. Still i understood this with ease. Such a powerful explanation. I bet a guy from any other branch in the world can understand this.

    10:00 Overall, it is topological sort.
    I think this is 2nd method to find conflict equivalent schedule. One we studied in lec 77, by swapping non-conflict pairs.

    Sir, aap bahut achha padhate ho..
    Apke video ki ek quality ye hai ki start se lekar end tak koi video cutting nahi hai...
    Maine RUclips per bahut sare lecture dekhe hain aur mostly sb log video cutting add karke upload krte hain..
    Sir, aap dynamic programming ka bhi video banaiye.. All pair shortest path, warshal and Floyd algorithms, dijkastra algorithm, N-queen problem, etc..

    The method to find the serial order of T1 T2 T3 is basically topological sorting of the graph using bfs method 🙂

    from graph point of view.., the schedule can be serialisable only when the precedence graph is un-directed Acyclic graph..., To find a serial schedule we need to find the topological sort of this graph which will respect all the conflicts......

    in short... " *if resultant graph has any 'valid' topological order then yes , given schedule is serializable* " . and order of the serialization of transactions is 'any valid topological order'.
    but " *if topological order is not possible in the resultant graph* , then we can't say anything for sure that whether the given schedule is serializable or not " ( in this case , we use *view serializability concept* to tell about the serializability of the given schedule)

    We cannot say serializable schedule is always consistent (as you said) as a serializable schedule can be irrecoverable, so if there are system failure then it leads to database inconsistencies.
