It was just the explanation we needed. So simplistic without missing any significant information. Truly worth watching and learning! Thank you so much!!
Really, the way you explain these concepts, it becomes so easy for us to understand these topics ,not only this one but all topics you have covered in dbms , there explanation and your energy level is wonderful . You are really loyal towards your profession . Thank you so much . Huge respect !! God bless you.
I am a passed out mechanical engineer working in L&T and i am preparing for gate CSE. Still i understood this with ease. Such a powerful explanation. I bet a guy from any other branch in the world can understand this.
10:00 Overall, it is topological sort. I think this is 2nd method to find conflict equivalent schedule. One we studied in lec 77, by swapping non-conflict pairs.
Thankew you sir 🙏 , I am following your each and every video , they're very very informative and helpful to all students who prepare their UGC exams. And your way of teaching very effective.... "No words" ... By watching your lessons, no need to read topic from book.thank you sir 🙏☺️

Sir, aap bahut achha padhate ho.. Apke video ki ek quality ye hai ki start se lekar end tak koi video cutting nahi hai... Maine RUclips per bahut sare lecture dekhe hain aur mostly sb log video cutting add karke upload krte hain.. Sir, aap dynamic programming ka bhi video banaiye.. All pair shortest path, warshal and Floyd algorithms, dijkastra algorithm, N-queen problem, etc.. Thank you..

Worth watching, Varun sir. Excellent presentation. I just want to say something about the indegree you mentioned. While I was studying Topological Sorting in Graph Algorithms, I came across the term INDEGREE. Anyway, thank you for your free lectures. :)
Great Video. I do not get the native language but I can still understand for the first 8 minutes. Great job on the explanation. Maybe you could add English subtitles to the videos for a wider audience =)
from graph point of view.., the schedule can be serialisable only when the precedence graph is un-directed Acyclic graph..., To find a serial schedule we need to find the topological sort of this graph which will respect all the conflicts......
thank you bro. had an assignment due in four hours and understood nothing about conflict serializability - your video popped up first and saved my life. goat
in short... " *if resultant graph has any 'valid' topological order then yes , given schedule is serializable* " . and order of the serialization of transactions is 'any valid topological order'. but " *if topological order is not possible in the resultant graph* , then we can't say anything for sure that whether the given schedule is serializable or not " ( in this case , we use *view serializability concept* to tell about the serializability of the given schedule)
We cannot say serializable schedule is always consistent (as you said) as a serializable schedule can be irrecoverable, so if there are system failure then it leads to database inconsistencies.
