Hi kristina : I have 3 more tips for drilling, and you can even do it enjoying a coffee :) 1st as a lubricant you can use" cutting fluid "
TAP MAGIC is one of them and is designed to protect the drills and lower temperature during the process 2nd re sharp the drills whit a diamond disc wheel when they loose
The shape, and 3rd use a ball shape burs to mark the position of the hole
In a concave shape to set the drills then adding the lubricant proceed with the drill ,I hope that it help !

Thank you for your videos as it’s helping new jewelers to start out right!
Could you please do a video about your bench, set up, and what kind is comfortable for you? I’m trying to decide on a traditional half-cut out bench desk or just a straight desk…
Also about your bench peg/pin. I’ve never seen a metal one like that before!
    Thank you!

Any jewelers near Alabama you know? I have some gold nuggets from Alabama that I’d like to melt down for my wife a gold ring, and have a Montana sapphire I found cut and put on the ring for our 25 anniversary in November.
