What a good idea to watch a movie and learn something new, especially in the period of Corona since the industry of filmography is interrupted! An Oscar price is given to Easy English by the way! Thumbs up!
😄😄 Hahaha! This is sooo good. 😀 I'm really impressed by the effort you put into this one. Great one! ...and I learned the right pronunciation of the word 'pronunciation' 🙂 so thx for that.
3:53 That was 50* years ago (no "the") + it's* 3:59 voice-activated* (with a hyphen) 5:54 should've* Still, thumbs up to this video! I didn't know about "February" and "salmon" (though the way she says "thorough" is also correct, but I guess correcting her was more for a joke).
For Americans too! There's a running joke on an episode of 30 Rock where Jenna tries to tell everyone the name of her new movie, and no one can understand what she's saying. It's called "The Rural Juror."
You could also do a similar video about the variety of different -th sounds, for me as a gerrman native thats the hardest part of the whole language, especially the pronounciation of "with" :D
In my country people always say "beach" like "bitch" , "sheet" like "shit" because our language doesn't have the difference of these "e" and "i" sounds . So that makes many funny misunderstanding when we speak English . My friend used to say "my country has many beautiful bitches" to two foreigners instead of "my country has many beautiful beaches"
Their careful pronunciation, as if they're afraid of mispronouncing something, makes everything sound mispronounced. Like the simple world "ladder" sounds like "ledder".
What drives me crazy is when native speakers (mostly Americans) who pronounce "both" with an L, as in"bolth". Really strange. Even my sister says it - no idea where she got that from.
You should hear what we’ve done to the language here in Massachusetts. Especially since a lot of our towns the same as yours or their Native American names. Boston used to be called Shawmut.
10 British English words you may be mispronouncing. The way he said thorough was jarring to a North American ear, where it would be closer to 'thur row'. Otherwise a good lesson for those learning the language.
How can this only have 3,300 views? It's amazing! Completely brilliant
Thanks Oliver!
Yes! I love their contents
This is film making. Enjoyed every second of this.
Thanks Manuel! ✌️
There should be the Oxford dictionary as a jewel at the end :D
Ohh, I love it... that's going in the next video! 😂

Nicely put! Thanks for your high praise, I'll dedicate my Oscar to you... when it turns up in the post 😂
Thanks Easy English team but next time wouldn't be worthy to launch an adventure to steal a book of pronunciation rather than jewellery?
Superfun and sarcastic, I'd watch more series like this.
Thanks! Keep an eye out for more :)
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Good job!!! I do truly love the British pronunciation!! 😍😍

You mean BOLTH and SAWL don't have L's? (Did your sister grow up in southern Ohia like I did?)
You should hear what we’ve done to the language here in Massachusetts. Especially since a lot of our towns the same as yours or their Native American names. Boston used to be called Shawmut.
I hope you don't mind but there's a spelling mistake in the subtitles (minute 5:58) "Mr Mitch, you should (of) have been thorough". Cheers!
Thanks for pointing it out Marius... even Easy English is prone to common mistakes here and there 👍
She even said it correctly, "you should have been [...]"
Wow - Great and funny video😂
Thanks Stephan 🙌

Thanks for your support Isaac 🤜🏻
The female sounds like she’s from South Africa to me.
It´s a really funny way to learn pronounciation.
Thanks Henning 👊

Noooo don't teach people to say feb-yoo-air-ee!

Is it just me or this guy speaks like Trump?
