I love my guinea fowl. They are bonded with me and we chat. They come and tell me their news. They are so brave. They have held back foxes and goannas. The goannas were lard - 5 foot long.

I love these birds. They eat ticks, flies, mosquitoes, and many other harmful insects. I'd love to get a few but they are too loud for our situation. We would end up getting a noise complaint. We have 2 acres of land in a neighborhood.

very very noisy!! Even a cat or snake sets them off into 10 - 15 minutes of unbelievable noise

Those vulturines are amazing, I really want some for my farm and flock, I have pearls. Thanks for showing them, this is actually my first time seeing them alive and moving and not a pic on the internet…

These things used to roam free around the Phoenix zoo. Not sure if they still do.

I know you are a zoologist and didn't mean to. But you said you had four male guinea fowl and showed a vulturine guinea (Acryllium vulturinum). Then you said you had 12 females and showed the helmeted guinea fowl (Numida meleagris), a different species. The latter are the ones most people keep as domestic fowl.
Thank you for the over-all interesting information, however.

You're correct! The video wasn't necessarily meant to correlate with what she was saying in that instance. Good catch and thanks for watching!

They are Amazing breeders given the chance My guinea hens produce 15 - 20 chicks in each hatching and the chicks have a very high survival rate . You can also cross a guinea hen with a Rooster ...the offspring are interesting looking hybrids !!

My family got guinea fowl for their farm, and man those birds were my favorite lol. Super loud and annoying but adorable. Sadly they are racist towards the chickens, so they had to get rid of them and I was tasked with catching them all. That was fun….

hi, I recently got some guineafowl chicks and one of them is suffering she has soggy stomach and it won’t clear up and she is struggling to stand and can’t walk she seems to be moving her head up and down like she’s nodding and I think she’s having some issues with her wings do you know how I can help her by any chance?
She is the smallest of all four guineafowl chicks I have they are about nine or 10 days old and she is called Jane I think she might be getting picked on by the other chicks but I’m not sure and she’s trying to move but she’s just can’t what should i do?

Can you show photo's of the difference between " Australian Chocolate guineas birds " vs " American chocolate guinea birds " , please that are adult's & babies of the two ?. I've just noticed that it is a good Idea to mate " Australian Chocolate Guinea's " with " Recessive Red Eyed Cinnamon " Guineas to create beautiful " Peach color type Guinea's " . Do you know if the peach ones are sterile or not ?.
