    This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection ruclips.net/user/postUgkxkNYRBJuiJ6EwD-tQSAlxg0eFKsnR2cgz I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.

    I been working wood since '71, you guys have some nice ideas, but I gotta say, your craftsmanship is indeed lacking. I mean no offense as I realize it's not meant for commercial retail. But my teachers always said, if it's worth doing it's worth doing it right.

    I think you should do the table once for everything you bring with you: the table is the store for cups, tea packet,.... The legs are not stable too. But the idea is good!.

    • @raymondo162
      @raymondo162 3 года назад

      a wooden table is already quite heavy........... how much heavier do you want to make it, with plates; cups; teapot; cakestand; napkins; aspadistra etc? one would need a very strong butler to cope surely ?? aha ha ha

    • @raymondo162
      @raymondo162 3 года назад

      oabtw: my butler pointed out that the table legs probably wouldn't take the weight of a half-decent tea service. so the theory is reasonable, but the execution lacks

    • @shoalbayboy
      @shoalbayboy 3 года назад

      @@raymondo162
      btw: NO table legs would take the weight of a half-decent aspadistra.
      For years we had an aspidistra in a flower pot
      On the whatnot, near the 'atstand in the 'all
      It didn't seem to grow 'til one day our butler Joe
      Had a notion that he'd make it strong and tall
      So he's crossed it with an acorn from an oak tree
      And he's planted it against the garden wall
      It shot up like a rocket, 'til it's nearly reached the sky
      It's the biggest aspidistra in the world
      We couldn't see the top of it, it got so bloomin' high
      It's the biggest aspidistra in the world.

    Nothing like watching a 3rd world craftsmanship video to really make you appreciate products Made in the USA. Amazing, not the word I would use to describe the workmanship in this video.

    • @samuelsmith5773
      @samuelsmith5773 3 года назад

      What, exactly, is your problem? His objective: build a round table. His product: a transportable, outside purposed, collapsible table. Did it look like a table made in a furniture factory? No. Did he use special-purpose tools and techniques? No. Does it look like it will provide the service for which it was intended? Don’t know, but should. This wasn’t built as a “product” most closely associated with mass-produced, commercial sales. It looks like it was a DIY project by the end user. So please stop the negativity.
