    Hi Amy,
    Love your tutorial!
    Can u pleases tell me the size of the easter egg? Thanks Amy.

      I have used different sizes depending on what I can get a hold of and how large I want my gnome to be. I use larger ones if I know my gnome is going to have a lot of accessories and will be heavier. Here is another video with details. Thank you so much! Good luck. ruclips.net/video/2cY9CKEPRPw/видео.html

    Hi Amy would you have any suggestions for making a cane for a gnome?

    • @DIYIsMyHappyPlace
      @DIYIsMyHappyPlace  2 года назад

      I love using balloon stick straws for just about everything. You can add hot glue to make a handle, then paint it to look like a cane.

      I have quite a few different ones but they all use the same basic technique I made up. Check out my channel at diyismyhappyplace for almost 30 different gnome tutorials. Here is one of my balloon straw leg tutorials: ruclips.net/video/E8MC4IGAPbg/видео.html. Good luck and thank you so much!

    Amy, thank you so much for the video on the shoes. I really appreciate it and I love all the work that you do. What my question was do you use that round what I call WhirlyGig in the bottom that comes with the straws

      @DIYIsMyHappyPlace  3 года назад +1

      No I actually haven’t used that. It doesn’t seem strong enough to hold the gnomes up.

    Thank you for such a wonderful, educational video. Question, what size are your condiment cups? 1.5 oz or 2 oz?

      Thank you Marci! They are the 1/1.5 ounce cups. 😀

    When I order balloon sticks they don't come with attachments even when I search

    • @DIYIsMyHappyPlace

      No way, really? That’s terrible. I’m going to look into finding a better source since that’s the most important part to make this work. I’m so sorry. I am going to figure this out asap. I know the Dollar store ones come with the attachments when you get the larger size, not the skinny straws. I just assumed the Amazon ones would too.
