    My parents (Russians) knew many people from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, they told: "We were good friends, and each of us thought that tomorrow will be better than today and everything will be fine anyway"
    But what's happening now. If u want me to sorry about smth, I'm sorry for just one thing: we did not supported the White House in 1993, Moscow. Everything would happen the other way.
    Love, Peace, Glory to Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, from deepest, coldest, evil Russia
    KiSS :*

      You nit support white house meaning you support Yeltsin or not?

      @@komarovosevastopol The White House insisted on impeachment for B.N Yeltsin. That was because of invalid reforms, which Yeltsin wanted to do.
      Because of Gorbachev and Yeltsin, we have lost practically all factories in 1990s. Everything was stopped, army factories - were taken apart and solled, car factories - same sh1t, soviet electronic systems were solled to IBM for few bucks. We had the best cosmic program in XX Century - where is it now? In my dreams, heh
      Thx to Uncle Boris.
      Maybe he did not understand, maybe he didn't want to understand one simple thing: even that way of reforms would not make EU and USA to think Russia is not agressive anymore. All period of 1990s nobody listened to us and laughed in president's face.
      And most terrifying that all nations lived in a friendship, there were no strict borders between republics like now. Who were the friends earlier, is killing eachother now.
      P.S. No matter who u are, dear reader. American, Russian, German, Pole, Chinese or Ephiopian: when everyone laughes at your motherland, it's hard.

      Sveiki! But how is Latvia now compared to the Soviet times? Here in Romania we appreciate the freedom and the fact that we can buy all sorts of stuff without standing in line in front of the supermarket, but there are no real national projects anymore, like the nationwide construction of new apartment blocks to house the workers , no new railways with trains even slower than during communism, motorways are built at a snail's pace, and we only managed to finish 2 of the 5 nuclear reactors at our only nuclear plant, whose construction began in the 80s.

      wyqtor At the end of the 80’s, so many soviet citizens got fooled by the fairytale of “freedom” and now I wish them happines with their new corrupt politicians that don’t care about their people and their concerns other than the amount of money in their pockets. Yes you can buy anything you want with capitalism but if you have money right? The collapse of the Soviet Union led to a decline in living standards. Back in Ussr, there were no people out of work, no corruption.You could never see people begging on the streets.Everybody had a job,everybody had a car,everybody had a house. Even a construction worker was able to take a free vacation 1 or two months. Not to mention free healthcare and free education. After the dissolution, each former soviet country’s economies started falling apart. Thousands of people lost their job.In ussr,your future was guaranteed ı mean goverment took care of your needs and almost everything were free or nearly free but now everything is expensive and every part of state is corrupt. Since the USSR fell, those countries including your country have sunk into poverty and reactionary extremism, and their populations are declining because all their people are migrating west so they can scrub toilets in Western Europe for subsistence pay because there's nothing for them at home. I’ve seen multiple peoplr in Sweden from Romania begging on the streets. With socialism they lived in dignity, under capitalism they've become a third world region colonized by West European monopoly capital. Do you think your country would be worse than it is now if soviet union hadn’t dissolved? No way.

      @ColCurtis 3 года назад +2

      @@denizaksoy2475 In the USSR everything was free you didn't have to try hard at anything there was no incentive to better your self. The communism system just provided. What do you mean no corruption? You mean no accountability for being corrupt, lie to the people, lie to the world that is the communist way. You can't stand up for your beliefs if you do your government makes you disappear.

      @@denizaksoy2475 If you look at statistics the quality of Life dropped by 2/3 in the country, but the wages increased by 2x.
      But the increase in wages made the productivity drop and inflation.
