Just got the same size tire 265/70/17 in SL load rating but a wildpeak AT4 on the 17 inch 4 runner trd pro wheels +4 offset and I don’t get any rubbing.
i love the ray 10's so much that when i scuffed mine bad i bought a whole new set all over again. such a sexy wheel. i got that same tire and size too. a bit rougher with the load E i think and very hard to balance right... i still get a little wobble at 65mph. How are you liking the ride?
Yes they do take a skill set to balance. I have them on my Tundra now and still get a little wabble but it's mild but expected. I have the same tire but now in a 275/70/17.
That is sweet!! I have the Tacoma sport in a long bed with a 2.5 lift and I’m shopping wheels and tires. Did you figure out the rub? I got a quote from SCS but wasn’t sure about the -10 offset, thinking that it may poke too much. That really looks nice, you got me taking a second look. What to do?😂 How much did your mpg drop?
Looks sooo good! Have you had any trouble with rubbing? I put a 2 inch lift on my Taco with same tire size and 0 offset Method rims. Now having to put new adjustable upper control arms on, cause it pulling to the right even after alignment and rubbing only on right side. Hopefully new control arms will help 👍
Are you on stock suspension? I have a 2 inch lift and was thinking about Metood 316 in a 0 offset but I dont want to do that if its gonna rub. Maby a -10 offset would be better for me.
@Annie I am still in stock suspension until this Sunday evening and the Eibach Stage 1 Pro truck kit is going in. I have a 2 inch block for the rear but I may end up pulling that out and doing g a 1 inch Eiback block and an AAL.
Love the wheels and topper.
Thank you
Looks great man, I ran the same size on mine, the offset is the reason it rubs like you said. 👍🏼 Badass truck
Thanks buddy. I lifted it 2 inches and the rub went away completely!
@@PNWXMATT That's awesome man, enjoy that truck, it's hard to beat them in my opinion.

I have the same color 2022 Taco OR . I went with Method mR305 and Nitto Ridge grappler 265/65/17 I get head turns 😊

Ooh man! That looks SO nice! Congratulations bruv! Did you get that lift ? Did it help with the rubbing?
I the lift but have not installed it yet but hopefully soon.
Should of got the load range C for a Tacoma. Even if you had a half ton, load range E is still overkill. They are for heavy duty trucks.

Yeah the rub is just a little bit of inner fender, but I'm going to lift it first before I trim it up.
@@PNWXMATT once you lift it, it should be fine. I'm running the same wheels and tires with 6112/5160 at max height and headstrong aal. No rub at all
After the 2 inch Eibach lift the rub went away.
Looks good
Thank you!

@Annie oh and my wheels are a -10 but would have preferred the 0 offset. Less rub with the 0 offset.
You think these would cause rub issues if I installed on stock tire size 265/65/17? Nice truck man!
Yes probably and I just l8fted it and the rub went away, atleast so far.
Awesome 👍👍
I love how it turned out!
Looks good even before a lift. How bad was the rubbing?
Yes because of the -10 offset but after the 2 inch lift the rub went away.
Did you get your Taco lifted with the 265?
Yes 2 inches in the front and about 1.5 in the rear.
I'm actually doing the opposite going from ko2's to the new at4w wildpeaks Because of the c load
